***Boring Series***
This series is extremely boring. Mainly for the fact how poor Zimbabwe have become. There's no real test for our players. Extremely sad and disappointed with the way Zimbabwe have declined. We need strong opposition. The sooner we start to play stronger teams on regular basis, the more accurate picture we will get of the team and individual players.

I used to think this way, and I still would prefer any other team but Zimbabwe.
But it's also true that international cricket is boring as a whole. Only 12 full members, out of which 4 at least have traditionally been very weak for a long time. So in that case, maybe we should just be happy anytime Bd plays another member.
But of course what would make most sense is a series with Australia who are ranked 6 in ODI and have already ducked us twice I think.

It was a very good series to get to experiment with some players and bring a few back. Also, you seem to have not taken into account that we improved massively as well. Although these kind of series aren't really that attractive for top teams as they don't gain any point (I don't think we did from this series) and ICC point system needs to be adjusted for that.
As for me, the disproportionate benefits offered by the pitch between the bat and ball (aside from Mirpur first innings) kind of made it a bit boring for me too. It's really hard for bowlers in the second innings during a D/N match during the winter.
Test will be fun and hope we put up a bit more balanced pitch.

It will be boring if you were expecting some kind of close contest but it was entertaining for me, seeing the Bangladesh batsmen bat in such explosive manner with such confidence, and the younger players like Saifuddin. I guess it was entertaining for some BD fans

I think Sir Ash could have scored a double century against this poor Zimbabwe team.
We need to play against decent teams, to improve. Would have preferred Afghanistan over Zimbabwe any day. They would be much competitive. Just ask yourself, have you ever thought a day will come when Imrul Kayes would be the highest run scorer in the series? with 2 hundreds? I mean come on

This Zimbo series is VERY BORING. I demand to play against Ireland. Or Afganistan, even better.

BD should only play test and T20 against Zimbabwe. No more ODI series.

We played them more often than not. If we are playing them again, it should be away to Zimbabwe. Playing them at home doesn't do us any good. It's true though that games between these sides have become boring now. Too many games between the sides these days.

Humans perform better when there is stimulus and challenge.
Should we beat them convincingly khutkhuta 'reserved' naysayers will mutedly note: you have been playing for more than 10 years. What do want a cookie?
Should we lose they'll have a field day tearing us apart.
No wonder cynical, fault finding people never find inner peace. Neither in this world or hereafter.

By the way I am taking this opportunity to thank our sonar bangla Tigers. Thank you for giving us a phenomenal rollicking decade and your utmost rise and improvement.
We bend over backwards going out of way to please others and make them happy showering gracious praises but we don't bother to thank ourselves and our players who have given us so much. Tad bit healthy self respect never killed anyone.
I really shoulduv opened a thread thanking us but I already opened like 8 threads today.
Best is yet to come. Go Tigers!
Now who would be the first one to supinely short change and undersell ourselves?
Any volunteers?
Rifat?
Roni?
Mhram?
Or the head honcho...
