Bd is far better team then before. Those tactics won't work this time. If Bd gets all out under 150, then for sure nz will be all out under 200. If they have boult and southee, we have taskin, Roy, sakib, miraz. I just want Bd to win the toss today, then all tactics bound to be changed. Go Tigers

What is more surprising to me is that Shakib has only played 12 overseas tests in a decade. That's craaazy.

I knew there was something wrong and yes it was only showing those who made exactly 100. That "qualification" search bit of confusing and may not do what it is supposed to. Here is the complete list.

We also have Mahmudullah in there.

I know, was just providing a little history tour of stats of the occasions that BD have played at the Basin Reserve...

BD does have the upper hand though...In that 2008 Test, Tamim, Shakib, and Mushfiqur were in the XI...while no member of that NZ team is present in their current squad...

Our attack is inexperienced. If we bowl first the pressure of taking wickets might get to them.

One World made the error of entering in the search query of overseas players who have scored EXACTLY 100 It's quite baffling though to know that Shakib(considered one of the modern day great All-rounders) has only played a dozen tests in a decade!

Did you saw the entire list? Or watching page 4?

Wally Hammond of England made 336*
Daryll Cullinan of South Africa made 275*
Javed Miandad of Pakistan made 271
Aravinda de Silva of Sri Lanka made 267

Those are some big 100s

Tamim, sakib, musfiq is not lolona anymore... they earn some guts in recent time. Also we got some talent added like Sabbir, miraz, taskin, mustafiz, somaya in recent squad, also Riad can be handy here. So only person I want to kick out , it's kadge. He will be the failure in that condition for his Khoca khuchi, drop catch in the slip, unable to face swing and bounce etc. but somaya got some runs last 2 matches, also will be handy with the ball and his fielding ability for surely I want him in the test. It's my inside feeling, Bangladesh might surprise us in this test, just need some luck from the heaven, rest will Allah decide.

I don't think so.. nz will be more cruel in this fact knowingly don't have much time to wrap up the test. Bd needs calm down situation bowling or batting first. Bd faced always straggled, when other team played like a no tomorrow. So I'm expecting 5 days game. Also in those conditions 4 days is maximum to get results...so I won't be happy for rain or backdoor out.... hit or knock out will make us strong.

If NZ are going to go on attacking mode for a result, then I think that would be counter-intuitive...Perfect opportunity for Bangladesh to pick up wickets

I'm looking at that scorecard of Mahmudullah's 115.

Bangladesh had NZ in some trouble bowling first. At one stage NZ were 158 for 5, then Guptill and McCullum took the game away from them with a 339 run 6th wicket partnership. Riyad made that century batting at #8. Ashraful's scores in the match was 12(28) and 2(8)

Yes true.. but remember, we r not a t20 material we like to built house slowly, extra advantage not for us at this moment. We always make those advantage joga khituri. But wish them luck if they can prove me wrong. As a fan, we like to see win.. doesn't matter how it comes..

If the Bangladeshi boys don't do any silly mistakes, This should be a very entertaining game with lots of fight from both sides. Looking forward to it .

I love Test Cricket.

I'm not saying this in terms of T20 cricket or whatever...this is a whole different ball game. A captain can put fielders where he want to under the rules of the game.

It is called testcricket for a reason

BTW NZ wrapped up a much superior Pak line-up in 3 days and 4 days in their two match series
