Default Match Thread: Nazmul v Nafis, OD 6 (Simulation)

Hello and welcome to New Jersey for the last match of the regular season to be played between Team Nazmul and Team Nafis. They are playing on the same pitch as yesterday. Team Nafis earlier won the toss and elected to bat. They need the double bonus point to host the final meaning they need to restrict Team Nazmul to half their total. It won't be easy but they're giving it all they've got

1/110 off 18 (Muied 38* Habibul_fan 67* MasterBlaster 2)

oh no! A horrible start that was for my team and myself... its a shame I couldnt give Team Nafis a better start... although Mueid and Habibul_fan picked it up quite nicely with a great 2nd wicket partnership!

By the way, how was I out ? I seem to have no clue of what happened on that delivery!

3.1 TAIF to Maste'ster, OUT, MasterBlaster comes forward in defense but is beaten by the subtle inswinging and is trapped plumb infront

24.1 TAIF to Ehsan, OUT, Good length outside off, Ehsan tries driving away from his body, the bottom hand comes off the bat and he offers a simple catch for NasifKhan at cover, soft dismissal

Ehsan c:NasifKhan b:TAIF 5(5)

Edited on, April 24, 2005, 1:44 AM GMT, by Simulation.
Reason: Bottom hand comes off the bat - NOT - bottom edge comes off the back

damn it! I still need to control that front-foot movement of mine!!!!

(Simulation, dont know if its a coincidence or not, but in real life, that's exactly what I consider is my main weakness in batting : front-foot advances too much in defense, and I get beaten by the inswinger... same thing happening in Simulation-cricket as well...wow...maybe simulation isnt always just a simulation )

25.4 Shaoun to Mueid, OUT, Uses the assistance from the wind and gets some big inswing, Mueid pushes right back but is hit above the kneeroll. Could have been missing leg with the movement and could have been going over the top. Harsh decision

Mueid lbw b:Shaoun 63(64)

Team Nafis are in a strong position with a great runrate, they will be looking for a total well over 300.
