It seems South are going to lose the match and not to reach the final.

Gazi just struck a 68 off 40. Just how good is this guy? He can at least be thrice the batsman Mash is - always great to have a bowling allrounder coming at 7 or 8.

That stupid Razzaq should take a look back at his act and start some fitness routine.
He is becoming the comedian fielder of BD team. His batting demise is just unacceptable.

Our version of Ashwin (Hope Gazi will become more successful)

I have seen him play, but that was back in 2007-8. I am not sure how much he has improved from then, but he is an accumulator. He is in the Rokibul mould, I know it's not saying much, but I reckon he can outdo Rokibul quite easily.
Also given the amount of runs he has scored, I think he will be near the national team in the next 2-3 years.

Yeah from what I have seen of him, he's surprisingly similar - good technique and not a flat foot slogger. Hopefully he can improve his temperament like Ashwin does. And I rate him higher as a spinner in tests too.

Why Faisal Hossain played only one test? He has one of the highest (40+) fast calsss batting average? মনে হয় ও কারও ভাগিনা/ভাতিজা না!

You should see how he bats against pace bowling....
Even the Afghans made him dance like he was playing 170kmph bowls....

soumya has never scored an FC ton, wonderful prospect, i reckon he'd quite possibly be in the national fold right now had he scored a couple of FC tons, converted a couple of those 50s but he hasn't managed it.

Yeah he's scored 8 50s but he's never scored a century. He has scored a century against Windies High Performance Team in a 4 day game, but that didn't have FC status. Hopefully he'll learn from this season and have a good comeback next season.

now that i checked his stats he got 9 50s but no 100. hes still very young as far as i know. lets hope he matures and start hitting some big tons from next season and do some justice to his talent. we dont have many bright young batting prospects so we badly need soumya, asif, maisuqur, miznur, farhad hossain, sabbir to shine and keep putting pressure on national team players. asif really dissapointed me this season so has mizanur and farhad. soumya and maisuqur are at least getting some starts.

shuvagata is a great talent also but he to disappointed this season. tasamul is another good young prospect, he seems to be forgotten a lot of the time.

shuvagoto was poor last year as well. asif was highest scorer last year (if you take the final out of equation) no where to be seen this year.

asif hasn't been playing the BCL, not sure why but he did get a 148 toward the end of the NCL, not a great season by his standards but he got some runs, though his average has dropped to 39 (which is still really good by BD standards). with the troubles of finding a 2nd opener, asif should be an auto choice in domestic FC matches, i mean he is the most consistent opener currently in domestic cricket and one of the most consistent batsmen for any position so it's quite ridiculous that he's not playing these BCL matches (unless he has an injury).
