the truth is we seriously lack what we call common sense.
Mushfique the way he got out in that match situation was the worst dismissal I've seen by a Bangladeshi player in any format.

Out of all those 3 loss, it was really demoralizing loss. Really hurts.
I just cannot believe that.... how many loppa catch we gave away and then after how Sahmsu and Momin almost win the game for us, all our so called core players/superstars failed.
I suggest ICC/BCB to investigate if there is any thing happened behind the field.

It takes guts to play under pressure of wickets at the end - guts that BD lacked. Self belief - that you can do it - when the numbers say you can. 3 rpo - and you go for that?!?

after hearing about the dropped catches and knowing Lanka were 70-8 I feel good that I had to miss the 1st half of the match, it's already too painful for me.

Two thappors for Shunar Gazi for dropping Tishara and throwing his wicket. Actually, he should get three. Any policeman out there? Someone need to slap some sense and reality into this wannabe hero.
Two thappor for Anisur Rahman
Two for Mushy. You simply dont play such a high risk shot when batting with the tail and RR under control.
One thappor for Shamsur for silly RBW and being over happy with a personal 50.
One thappor for Tammotu, too.

Watching Cleveland show to wash away my tears. I must say that I already forgot the atrocities made by our players. Glad that I didn't see Sri Lanka when they were batting or else it would have made me feel much worse. Congrats for Sri Lanka for their determination and for winning this match at the expense of our soulless batting. Don't know how they will come back in the next match

It is pretty hard to believe they were actually trying to win this match. It seemed they were trying everything to lose the match and they succeeded!

This is what ardent NZ fans must have felt like after single-digit losses against us in 2010.
On the other hand, SL is getting very well prepared for the two upcoming knock-out tournaments. They seem to up their game, whatever is thrown at them, with one player - at the least - always putting in a performance.

I can feel how Bangladeshi fans must feel now. This must feel worse than losing to PNG or a team like that, since the Tigers had the Lankans on their knees and a loss for Tigers was unimaginable. A lot of people in Bangladesh would have been getting celebrations ready for tonight and I do feel sorry for them.
History repeats itself.

What was that about a Tiger and Cat thread ? That must have been interesting. I will now respect household cats more.
Better luck in the next two games, Tigers. Give them a break, fans. They are a pretty good team. It is only that things went dreadfully wrong today and that could happen to the best of teams.

Hahaha, the "cat" reference has nothing to do with Sri Lankan Lions (Who've really lived up to their moniker). It refers to the performance of Bangladeshi players after every match, the best players being "tigers" and the worst players "cats"

Well, I followed the BD- NZ series closely. The kiwis who are giving India (one of the Big 3) a hard time right now were thumped by the Tigers 3-0 in the ODI series.
Then I also followed that BD-WI ODI series that was won by the Tigers.
Then there was the Asia Cup Final.
As far as ODIs are concerned, the Tigers have come of age. They can and will beat any side, especially at home. Today was one of those days. Every team has them. I can remember so many that the Lankans had.
I am sure that the next two games would be very interesting.

Hah! Before going to sleep after the lankan innings ended I said this 180 will look like 300 right now to reply to one of the posters here. Well sure hell they made it LOOK LIKE IT!!!! Bunch of clowns!!! What kind of a choke job was this when nobody gets to double figures and supports the captain on the other end? BUNCH OF IRRESPONSIBLE CLOWNS!!!! Btw, they better find an opener to go with Shamsu next match. Anamul ain't an opener type. And Tamim can sit in the dressing room for the rest of the year and suck on lolly pops.
