Solid opener. Knows how to up the RR during PP overs. I wouldn't move him from the opening slot, that's where he is the best!

Anamul can take Riyad's place if Riyad continues to be out of form for the next 2-3 series.

Congrats Soumya Sarkar for your maiden century, mashAllah.
May you score many more centuries for Bangladesh.

This, Mahmadullah, doesn't really suit slow pitches, he did so well in Aus, cause he has excellent timing and he likes playing the ball late and using the pace of the ball, in BD or other Sub continent country, he doesn't get the speed he wants of the pitch.

If Sarkar keeps his form, wouldn't mind

Tamim
Sarkar
Anamul
Mushfiq
Shak

Riyad plays well on all types of wickets. Please check his stats. He is having a bad patch after the world cup success. Give him some time. He is only 1 innings away from coming back to form again.

Batting pipeline is richer than ever. After Soumya we have:
Liton

Mosaddek
Shadman
Shanto

He will be the reason Bangladesh will be a feared side. With an opening like that, both Tamim and Shoumya firing, any team will want to go into a hiding.

Something I want to request fans, media and BCB. Persevere with this kid. He will fail, but we have a match winner in our hands like Tamim, when he fails don't criticize him too much but ask him to learn. When he corrects that, he will be even more destructive. He is such a big talent. We are lucky to have him.

Man so many talented players I want to see, but no spots available at the moment!

How is their fielding, because it seems to me that Nasir's spot is severely under threat but his fielding is clutch.

He almost threatened Tamim's unique spot here.

I'm a big Anamul fan but would not trade Soumya for anyone in the world atm! Not only is he a finesse player, I had no idea he's capable of hitting such big sixes. When on song he's frankly quite intimidating because of his size.

Stay level headed and keep up the good work. Remember Nasir as a reminder that its easy to lose your way and very hard to make your way back.

5 innings out of 10 he should succeed if he plays like this, we have to accept the fact that he won't deliver this sort of innings every single day, it's just the way he plays....which is fine.

Do you blame Tamim for that run out?

Not entirely, no.

For someone as quick as Soumya, and with decent height as well, I would expect him to make a fuller dive. He had gotten out previously in the same fashion as well, where the dive was not full enough. Body needs to be absolutely horizontal to the ground.

If he gets into this habit, then it will save him from whatever moronic calls Tamim is making from the other end.

I thought that runout was poor. Soumya started slowly and didn't give much effort into diving.
