I used it for a 2 weeks. It was making my ears hot. I had reward money (1% cash back adds up pretty quickly) in my credit card - i used that.

After 2 weeks - i left it on a table. Wife didn't like the fact that I couldn't hear her when I have those on. I told her it makes my ears hot after a while. So she decided to return it on her own. I got charged 70 dollars repacking fee. At around similar time, wife lost that credit card which was used for some fraudulent purchase immediately.

When the rest of the money was returned to the card from the retailer - it was charged first and then the same amount was returned (no points given back) essentially making me lose all that money. I would have called the credit card company and retailer but with the lost card the account was froze and with all.

So essentially I lost the reward dollars, have no headphone, and reading your post on what a great headphone is. FML

Strange that it made your ears hot.. i have used it for hours without any issues. It gets a little warm because of the leather but not uncomfortable. Noise cancellation is fantastic on this especially on flights with crying babies. Maybe you got unlucky with the specific model. BOSE QC II is also good at a similar price range

Thanks for your kind words. I agree 100%. Truth be told, it's not easy. Cricket is a different type of sport where it is an 8 hour game...Socccer/Basketball other sports only last less than a few hours. I spent a lot of money and time preparing for the World cup trip. Though Alhamdulillah I had an amazing time in England and I got to witness two wins live...we came soooo close and yet so far that it just hurts that much. I felt that this was the best chance for Bangladesh to win the trophy. I feel that from this point onwards, it's only downhill from here. At least the silver lining is that Mr. Al Hasan showed up to the party....others (almost) didn't.

Point is, we spent a lot of time discussing/analyzing dissecting this beloved team. we spent a ton of time wasting following this team and watching them and investing our own precious time and money. that's why it hurts...

From superb activity during the world cup, to the invasion of bots soon after, then the exile of Night_wolf and Jadukor, to now the "Your most profound realization" thread.

BC never fails to deliver.

A few stalwarts failed the beep test though...

PS: The retirement of al Sagar. Still missed him

What happens in BUET student halls:

https://www.prothomalo.com/durporoba...থ্যে

Quote:

Intolerance is the FABRIC of our society. Be it religious or political. You don't have to look beyond guys like Shingara that buffoon who wrote a tirade against England living on that same land and eating their nuun and others members of this forum.

We hypocrites PREACH freedom and tolerance and shamelessly trot Shaheed Minar and Smriti Shoudh with garlands paying respect to the martyrs who DIED for our right to express opinions and our Selves, yet when it comes to practicing it we take hack saws and axes and chop Hindu/Atheist bloggers and who DARE criticize our QUEEN.

Awami League cadres are thugs under the guise of politics. Where tf is Hercules when you need him?

This is the only reason why despite our flaws America is America cuz you don't actually frikkin die for expressing your views.

All you same holier-than-thou atels vilified and threw it-paatkel pillorying Anik/TigerEz and whom not. Get TF our of your high horse.

Preaching and khabardari kora is a nasty disgusting habit we as a collective have absorbed in our armory. Plus add to that 1000 mg of your 10th generation seeded khati BIGOTRY so pervasive and prevalent in Bangladesh.

Home of the brave, land of the free. Pssssh.

Funny progressive and neo liberal "intellectual" members of this forum are majority pro-Democrat. This is particularly telling. Just like the atrophy and degeneration of values and morals of the Democratic party, we don't practice openmindedness, compassion, tolerance and difference of opinion.

All our "uncles" and "aunties" proudly proclaim their democratic badge with the profile picture on frames, but how many have fervent stance on abortion, the right of a free individual to consume drugs and heck battery acid for that matter, the right to practice other religions be it 'murti puja' as well as views on LGBT community, anti-death penalty, etc? The way we are so quick to judge others (not Bangladeshi but as a subcontinental race and nation as a whole and in general) is NO DIFFERENT from the Trumpsters.

Nay. We chose the easy route cuz we equated pro-immigration with Democratic party stemming from our guilt complex of victimhood and 'oh-we-shall-but-always-be-second-generation-here' (as if Dems will then be our Savior...).

Amra shudhu naamkawaste progressive.

The spite...
The judgement...
The resentment...
The scorn...

Is same I read in Bible. Where they vilify it...yet vilify it using the same tools they use it. LOL! Kinda like what I am doing now...

Watch it. Amar shathey abar jhamela kortey ashba na. Last koyekbar ki hoisilo, vuila geso? Khet pola. You fixed that khet freshie accent yet?

This BUET student died and our media have blown it out of proportions. What about all the other people who die everyday in BD. Do these media channels report them ? Why not? If not, why does this guy get special treatment? We are talking about BD. It's the norm there. Potrika khullei ekhaney shekhaney khoon-kharapir ghotona thakey.
