brother,
we dont get that many opportunities to get excited.. be it sports or anything else. thats why we celebrate every little good things that come along our way which is something u wont understand coz u dont know how bad it feels to see our team being ridiculed all the time....

Key point to note: he didn't look fatigued even towards the end of his innings despite picking up so many 1s and 2s.
Contrast this with Tamim, Shakib or SN, who start huffing and puffing after facing 30 deliveries even though they do the vast majority of their scoring through boundaries.
He has the right attitude and that's why he is my favorite in the team. It's the attitude that matters not how big you can talk to the reporters. i'A Mushy will prove that this was not a fluke and continue to play many more of these innings and take over the captaincy soon.

That's why I like Mushy a lot as well. And hearing the coaches say that he's the most professional player means something. He's 1 of the hardest workers and even though he's tiny, he's a well built guy. He might not be as talented as Tamim, Shakib, or SN but he's still got enough talent to be a good international batsman.

So true, ঠ্যালার নাম আমরা সবাই জানি, but not everyone has the character and determination it takes to get out of such চিপা ।
I hope he continues to perform long after he's in the team as specialist bat and permanently replaced as keeper. Life is seldom an either/or proposition.

I have said it in the past, now saying again. Due to his flaws in technique it won't be possible for him to be much successful in the top order unless he corrects his technique.
He has a very high back lift and he doesn't bring the bat straight from the back side. If you look at his stance you will see he holds the bat at around 35 degree angle with the stamps. Due to his high back lift, when he faces sharp and fast in coming deliveries he has big gap in between his bat and pads. As a result he gets himself bowled a lot of times.

About time.
Mush played 2 good innings so far. Looks like he has fixed himself. Maybe we don't need to drop him now ?

@War-wolf: Agreed. As I mention in my Armchair All-Rounder thread, he was successful because he came in when the spinners were operating. This kinda clashes with his desire to be a top order player.

Dhiman has scored another century. Taking him as the keeper would do no harm.
