Default Bangladesh's next series so many months later.......

So what I see our next series is in October against NZ thats like 4 to 5 months later and a big chunk of the year. Thats a big gap, can we not fit a return Zimbo tour in BD during these 4 months? Is there any series after NZ or is that it for 2013?

our u-19 team goes to eng to play an tri series with england u-19 and pakistan u-19 in august. also our A team will be there in the same time to play some games agaisnt the eng lions.

the national team players needs to go through some conditioning camps, tactical planning and strategic camps, temperament and understanding the game situation camps, SPOKEN English training and other mental issues.

several players needs to refine themselves by hardworking in the training grounds like robiul did. they need to work on how to mitigate some of their weakness and how to sharpen some of their special skills.

Well, I dont think our players have any choice but to take part in CPL and SLPL. With CPL and SLPL clashing, i sense a lot of top players would go to CPL, and that would create vacancy for BD players to take part in SLPL.

Shakib
Tamim
Nasir
Mushy
Razzaq
Sir Ash

will be amongst the ones who will participate in BPL

Default Too long a gap!!!

There is a long gap for the national team before NZ visits BD. Sometimes cricketers play too much and it helps to have some down time. But, 5+ months is a bit too much. If any other national team has some downtime, BCB definitely should seek to hold at least one series with them during these 5 months. Ideas?

You sound like Atahar Ali from back in 2009. When he was commentating in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe Commy: I wish that was six

AAK: No Umpire signaled 4, you deserved what you get....(something along that line)

BTW we have "A" Team tour as well as U-19 also. Beside there is enough rest for the players so they should not complain about fatigue. I think what BCB should do from mow is start the Domestic campaign earlier. And with WC T20 next year it will be a good move.

I do not see anything like that in FTP for ZIM. They are gonna host IND for 3 ODIs tho.

We need better FC tournament. We have Zillions of TV channel, covering FC matches live will bring the best out of a player and it will get more people interested on cricket. If showing live is too much then just do a 2 hour highlight on selected matches.

We can't even beat Zim and you are saying we deserve more?

We need results to support, not playing Good cricket or sommanjonok porajoy.

We won 1 test, 1 ODI, 1 T20. Took one test to Day 4 and lost T20 in last over. What else do you want Nadim? I am impressed with the boys. We are getting very competitive nowadays

Thats why cricket will never become a prosperous sport. Here we see the 9th and 10th teams struggling to get much cricket, whereas, in football, you see in leagues, upto 20 teams play against each other and no-one complains much..

If the opposition was one of top 8 team, then i would have called it as one of the most successful series ever in our history...BUt, thats not the case here

But... but.... we also
  • Played against on eof the most chotta umpires of all time.
  • Survived kerosine jukto paani.
  • Survived char poke jukto bechana.
  • Survived the threat of chicken pox in the team.
  • Played with proven dead wood in the team.
  • Played with immotional captain with some drastic mood swing.
  • Hard to explain team selection and expected role of players.
  • Unfamiliar pitch condition with not warm matches.

Then Ash gets another life then. If he didn't have the same problem you mentioned in your post, im sure he would have scored more runs

Ashraful is immune to all of these drawbacks. he is consistently inconsistent though out his career and to his fans, he is consistently unlucky player. Actually he was feeling pretty confortable in ZIM, he was even seen dancing with the crowd while fielding. He liked ZIm soo much that there is a possibility that ZIMN-ke taar shosur bari-o banaye felte pare.
