Sorry, But it is Canadians not Canadiens.
Canadian ---- People from Canada
Canadiens---- A name of hockey team from Montreal, Canada.

the injury to Roy Halladay is surely going to haunt the Jays. It's time J.P. Ricciardi makes a bold move, and gets a top-notch pitcher immediately if the Jays are to stay in contention.

Too bad Halladay going to miss out the All-Star Game starting job, barring a potential showdown between Halladay for AL and Carpenter for the NL as the starting pitching for the All-star game.

Yes... Halladay injury is gonna hurt us... Carpenter was a former Jay too before he was released. I am hoping we get a trade for a good pitcher... We just got swept by the Rangers and our pitchers really didnt do that well.

If i were the Jays or Mets i'd Trade for Barry Zito. Oakland is actually doing well right now but they did Trade Hudson and Mulder in the winter, so those teams wanna show that there serious they should go make a Move for him.

I'd trade for Barry Zito in a heart beat. I don't get the Jays they can release Chris Carpenter yet they can keep guys like Pat Hentgen last year.

There season is done w/o halladay. They shoud Trade the players they know that won't resign with them. They made the same mistake with delgado last year and i'm sure they'll do it again.

They should get rid of players like wells. Who when they become free agents they'll leave for the big bucks.

trade wells ? and who do you want in return ? wells trade was never in the scenario, and never will be in the near future. Wells is one of those "untouchables" in the team. If you mentioned Eric Hinske, yes, a much more understandable option. Toronto needs a stud hitter in their line-up, and wells is filling up that spot rite now, not necessarily how well he was expected to be.

and getting zito is nothing but a gamble. He will either do the job well, or he wont contribute anything. Thats how a typical Barry Zito season goes.

Yup Zito goes from a Cy Young contender a few years back to horrible bad this year. And speaking about Carpenter.. Who knows what happened to him. He just got better outside of toronto.

Eric Hinske will be traded pretty soon. That is for sure. They will try to get a pretty good pitcher. Aron Hill is doing awsome as a rookie; he will take Hinske's spot. You can't trade Wells, he is the building point for Toronto.
Carpenter sucked when he was with the Jays. They knew this guys has good future but they were getting tired of him as he go injured many time. Blue Jays were very patient with Carpenter but he was going to nowhere; therefore they had to trade him.
Letting Delgado go was a good choice; this guy was eatting up most of the payroll.

Delgados salary in toronto is just a little bit less than what Rogers payed for the Skydome.. What would you rather have a MAssive stadium that is refurbished or a guy who can bat and field and thats it. Although Delgado was my favourite player I think it is right he left.

The Blue Jays organization simply couldnt keep Delgado for money. 'nuff said.

Also, Carpenter was struggling with a nagging injury during his last days with the Jays. I am happy for him. He's a new home now, and look! the guy's going to start the All-star game tomorrow for the NL. Mark Buerhle is going for the AL.

It wasn't fun. Abreu was awesome but it's not a home run derby when you have guys like choi and Bay. I'd rather see A-rod, Manny or even sosa even thogh he has 9 hr's he still loves putting on a show. If you evr watch an baltimore game come early for batting practice to watch sosa. He always hits 500 ft + HR's for the fans.

Abreu was crazy... He had more homeruns in the first round than he does the whole season.

The Canuck kid did look like a poor duck in a big bay. Like paatihash in Bay of Bengal! And Tony LaRussa didnt even use him in the All-star game!!! Francona on the other hand cleared his bench, although Hillenbrand and Posednik didnt get any at-bats (but got to do some fielding in the end).

Well, the sense of any touch of exhibition is long gone from the All-star game nowadays, as this one really does count. Ask the Red Sox nation about the home-field advantage during last year's World Series against the Cardinals.

hated the yankees - too cocky - too much money involved, but after the red sox win last year they are on the top of the hatred list.

After Palmero's incident hate MLB. Starting from sosa, bonds to Mcgwire all cheaters. But don't hate the game itself.

What a series. Astros are roaring. White sox are waiting. I like Astro cause of their pitching staff. Pettite, Clemens, oswalt and Lidge. Berkman, Bagwell, Biggio will take it to the white sox.
