Abahani also won without Shakib and Mash. They fought hard to reach 107 target.

I am impressed with the performance of the ICL players even though the opponent were unknown and probably quality-less. But that is not ICL player's fault.

However I am not at all impressed with the cheerleaders. In fact by seeing them I did not cheer up at all. BCB should consider hiring those beautiful pvt. university female students to provide thrust. আহ, সুখ নাইরে পাগল!

Seems like Ashraful was the captain for this game.

I think he will be the captain for the T20 league. Masud will take over from him after that.

tamim shows his class (except he was in volved in yet another runout), shamsur has started off ok but i'm expecting a big season from him after what he achieved last season, aftab and ash chipping in, mithun back into the runs finally, kapali still scoring t20 runs, nazimuddin starting the season off well. soumya sarker and mehrab with good half centuries, riyad was alright with both bat and ball, and gazi salahuddin finally making some runs again (he went off the map for the last couple of seasons).

bowling wise delwar did really well even if he didn't take wickets, saju datta kept it tight and took a wicket, nabil samad did really well keeping it tight and taking wickets, and talha with 2-21 did a good job.

So, Tamim blasts off nicely.
60 runs from the first 6 overs - all by himself. This kid performs. No excuses. You put him in the WC - he performs against India. You put him against WI & Zim - he performs. Local league - performance. IPL - same story. He just doesn't give excuses.

It's a shame that he was run-out even with a runner - that is just funny. He probably would have scored a century in the very first match....
