I think Shakib was considered to captain BD in World Cup.
At any rate, I love Tamim but in my opinion these are the best batsmen now:
1. Mushfiqur - natural, class, master, still got the touch and his shot selection got so much better that sometimes he reminds me of BD's ABD... if I must. Rare his scoop doesn't come off but I love his playing style and approach

True, boss should be Shakib going into the WC. Tamim should just concentrate on his batting now. We need a Tamim scoring runs top of the order - no one better will come up in this short time frame. We all know coach is trying hard for Sharkar ... No to this!!!
All these shenanigans and drama is why we will always be the laughing stock of cricketing world. Watch Afghanistan leap frog us and make Semi Finals first.
It's clear Tamim and Hathu don't want to work with each other and the board is backing the coach. Now they are just forced to put up with each other I guess. Must be great for the team /sarcasm
