How little media coverage the country's top flight First Class cricket league gets tells the story how little importance BCB, fans, and media give to the longer version of cricket. Anyway, last round of BCL resumed yesterday.

Nasum and Khaled showing off batting skills they learned in the last BPL. Seems like more and more batters nowadays batting with high backlift and nominal footworks, in all formats.

South Zone all out 313. Nasum should consider himself unlucky not being able to complete the fourth fifty of his FC career, as he ran out of partners. He looked better than Imrul with that high backlift.

Being said that, I hope Imrul will come back to his senses and go back to his old stance. I don't expect him to return to international cricket, but he's too good of a cricketer to fade away from domestics so early.

Looks like Central left out Abdullah Al Mamun to accommodate Soumya. Unfortunate, I must say. Mamun has been a find of this season, with aggressive batting style that can bring him success in any format.

Soumya would have been better left off playing khep cricket.

As predicted, Soumya is gone cheaply, Khaled bowled him out bowling the gap between his pad and bat.

I hope Central will bring back Abdullah Al Mamun for the final.

Despite all the trolling, I admire Mithun for his sound batting techniques. I heard a lot about Aich Mollah as well, never got to watch him live before.

Congrats Naeem Islam on scoring the 30th FC century of his career. It's ridiculous that our current leading FC batter is not in our Test team.

Format changed, but Rony Talukdar (East Zone) still seems to be in a good touch, made few nice classical shots before lunch.
