Well.. stat says that we last about 67 overs and not 120 overs.. so for us to strech to 137 overs, welll it is a huge stretch indeed...

Fidel and Kemar will bowl full at pace and we'll fold within the first 10 "owahz" after lunch.

We have lost 3 wickets in 1st session. So we are heading for a lose.Targeting a win was a poor planning. Now wait for a lose.

these national players need to play as many domestic first class games as possible to learn how to construct a big innings. When was the last time Tamim or Shakib played a NCL game? They bat too much like they would in a one-day game, quickfire 50s are no good in test cricket.

Don't think he is doing more. He is doing good no doubt, but today was the time to play more sensibly for the team, not to prove how good an all rounder he is.... We expected a match saving innings from the best player when it's needed.
What's the point of counting averages, when his innings wasn't a responsible one in current situation? I may not blame him for not being able to do that, but how can u praise for irresponsible shot? Have we won or drawn?

And last two wits were completely unnecessary. They should have saved their wickets until lunch.

Yes, as another poster said, India vs Windies in Trinidad....
Lloyd declared and gave his bowlers over 400 to defend, and Gavaskar and Vishwanath hit off the target with ease. The WIndies had gone into that match with three spinners, and after this Test, Lloyd declared he had no faith in WI spinners, and turned to developing his devastating pace quartet.
That match was the turning point in West Indies cricket.

That was not the first 400 plus successful chase. The very first one was at Leeds in 1948 by Bradman's invincible's. 404 to be exact and in one day.
For the romantics here, 418 has been the highest successful 4th innings score in 134 years of test cricket. This is the 2012th test match of all time. 429 has been the highest to save a match [ apart from the unfinished "timeless" test ].
Another small point: Bangladesh has never scored 500. In the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th innings. Just to put the matter into some perspective !
