Just watched it. Great movie. The plot, acting, and setting is totally different from typical Hollywood movie. This kinda movies makes Bollywood movies seem like a joke.
Naimul bhai, let us know if you come across more movies like this.

I have been watching Persian movies lately. Watched few and there are few more in waiting list. Here are some my favs (with eng subtitles)
1. About Elly- (Must Watch) award winning movie. Great direction, great acting and a great story. Nuff said, watch yourself. Btw, its from the same director of 'A Separation'.
2. Baran (Must Watch) One of the best Iranian movies. Talking about unconditional love, this movie is the best example. Director Majid Majidi's master piece.
5. Ten - An unique movie from great Abbas Kiorostami. The whole movie was set in a car and made with just a handy cam. Its an experimental movie, 10 different scenes of conversations of a female with passengers. I liked it.
I like drama movies too. I have seen all the ones you suggested. About Elly was the best among them. Honestly, the girls looks so cute and modest in these films. I will suggest to watch this two.

Scroll down his page and you will find these two movies with English subtitles. Both are award winning amazing movies.
Let me know if you like it.
Good on you
You are absolutely right about girls. Man, girls can be so beautiful with scarfs on. My very first crush in Sydney was no Aussie, no European, no latina, rather an Iranian
Those movies are on list too. I was planning to watch today but could not watch those. I will be done watching these two movies by tomorrow sure
Other movies are:
Davandeh
Fireworks wednesday (did not find link with eng subtitle )
Through the olive trees
Half moon
Under the city's skin
Desiderium
Hamoun
Taste of cherry
^ Zeeshan, the Sherlock TV show on BBC is also quite good. The first episode of the Second Season based on the story of Irene Adler is great. You should check it out if you haven't already.

I agree; Moffatt did a lovely take on Conan Doyle's Adler -- probably the best of all 5 episodes so far. That said, I would have liked it even more, If Adler was truly shown to be Holmes' equal; as opposed the latter being just a wee bit smarter.
Anyone watch this korean movie The Brotherhood of War?? This is definately one of the greatest movie ever. I almost broke in tears on few scenes... ok ok i admit i did cry a little... so what?? im just human.
okay, so I hate bollywood movies...amar jaaner shotru, but I thought I'd attempt to watch Ra.One. OMG couldn't get past 5 minutes of this movie. WTH was that??? people actually like these things?! -_-
on the other hand, I watched "Taree Zameen par"- for a bollywood movie, it was actually okay. Something my family and I could closely relate to.
I will attempt to watch Don 2.. I don't know why I put myself through torture like this, also I want to watch "dil toh pagal hai" again! That's probably the only ever hindi movie I'll love. I love the songs in it
Omfg Korean movies are so freaking epic. Just saw the movie Musa enjoyed every bit of it. Next on list The good, the bad, the weird . Posted via BC Mobile Edition (Android)
Watched Hugo in 3D yesterday! Well.....this movie definitely plays with your head and you still try to figure what's going to happen next till the last scene....definitely NOT a kid's movie!!
As for Sherlock Holmes....watched it twice in theatres....as usual, Robert Downey and Guy Ritchie were great....and too cute Jude Law :P
