Misinterpreted!
What i said is instead of thinking about self promotion, or a part time tele drama career or ads or photoshoots at least work in the nets. Just read up on Michael Hussey or Rahul Dravid. See what they used to do night and day. I can assure you neither ever even dreamed of having a website!

He is slowly coming to form. I have told this after the last match. Today he played some good shots. Specially an inside out cover drive of his own caliber.
Bad times will be there for players. None of our players are fully professional. They needed to be handled carefully by some professional coaches. Spineless persons like JS and Mushy are not capable to handle them at all.

i don't think ash has ever had a prolonged period of top form in all formats for any period close to what nasir achieved in his first 2 years. give him more time he's still young, looks to be coming back to form.

It's not MEhzabeen, it's because Nasa dumped Glaxose D for Boost, should have stuck to GlaxoseD son.

Only slight improvement, but he keeps getting out trying to play lofted shots.
Nasir must realize his limitations. He doesnt have the muscle, nor the timing of say Mushfiqur. He must stop trying to clear the fence. Instead play like Bevan and always try to see through whether chasing or setting targets. Only get one's, two's, until the platform is set for him to take greater risks.
Right now he is not picking the gaps, not rotating. Creating pressure and then throwing it away by playing a crazy shot.
Just see how Fawad Alam bats. The left hander has turned into an unconventional batsman, picking quick singles, converting ones to twos with electrifying running between wicket. And since he doesnt have the power he plays awkward clever shots into gaps to score boundaries. To counter full tosses he takes guard out of the crease. Also his Chanderpaul like stance keeps the bowler guessing. Turning out to be a real finisher for Pakistan.
If only Nasir would also think like that.

Wish he had that brain. Agree with you on Fawad Alam and other new comers of Pak team or even SL teams. IND is way ahead of creating and sustaining good middle orders so don't want to bring them up even Pak and SL are miles ahead. So sad to see our BD players, team, management everything is below par standard comparing to other neighbors.

BD has always been below countries like SL, Pakistan, and India. SL population might be low but they make it up with their strong infrastructure and system. India obviously has a massive population going along with a strong system as well. Pakistan is weaker in this way but they still have a good system in place plus a massive population to go along with it.
We might have a massive population but bottom line is that our system is way below the other subcontinental teams. And when you compare us to the likes of Australia, England and South Africa then forget it.
There's a reason why us and Zimbabwe languish at the bottom after all these years

Strong system yes, better infrastructure maybe not. But the key difference is strategy and the use of the head.
Consider the players, most of them are very intelligent and have terrific knowledge of the game. Razzak has much more experience than Herath. But does he have even half the wits of Herath? Sanga, Mahela, Mathews etc are of a totally different league. We might have had great talent in Ashraful, Shakib, Tamim, Anamul, but their talent is not complemented by maturity.

That's the thing, we might always have talent that comes through which we can expect from a cricket crazy country and a massive population but we're not producing them well enough compared to the other sides.
I think we had this discussion before but throw the likes of Shakib, Tamim, Mushy and Nasir in SL, Pak and India and I feel they'd be better players than they are now. Again that points to systems being better compared to ours. You see the other G8 teams and they bowl to take wickets and will bat until you earn a wicket. Ours on the other hand will gift their wicket away and bowl to contain.

He should be dropped from the 1st test imho. It seems like he has forgotten how to hold a bat these days

Fame has gotten to this guy unfortunately.
I cant understand why he is in the team....as he bats so lower down the order and his bowling is just useless.
