Nope this guy is special

his timing is excusite. Nazim played with a lot of class and freedom. Kayes wouldnt have played half the number of shots nazimudding played

i know Nazim is a good player and had good timing but the problem i have is he doesnt move his feet and other international teams will figure this out.

to me Nazim is able to play quite many shots with ease but his only problems his feet doesn't move which is very bad. I hope Coach can just fixed this issue, otherwise the guy looks very comfortable out there ! I'm happy with his batting. Also he deserves fair enough chances..

Nazim's shots come from the middle of the bat
very good powerful hitter, aggressive, good defense.
So far didn't look that edgy.

Although I wanted to see Kaedge coming back to the team after his consistency in DPL, but NAzim has done well enough to play atleast the next game.
Feel bad for Kaedge as ODI is his format but unfortunately that's how it goes.

I don't care how a player gets his runs, as long as he gets them consistently against strong opposition. If KaEdge can average above 30 against the Top 8 nations, I'll take him any day of the week. He can edge every delivery for all I care. I care about results, not aesthetics.

well, maybe its time to give anamul or imrul to have a go in place of nazimuddin

Even shahriar nafees and JS could do better. Poor footwork like this can never help you against quality fast bowlers...think about tamim

Yeah but did you see his foot movement?? He seems like glued at his crease.. he didn't look comfortable against any bowler in the last 2 match, never finds the gap to take singles.. We need a solid player at number 2.. Imrul has far better technique than Nazim.. Anyways it seems like our #2 and #3 positions are kufa.. jaakei khelai she e flop kore

What about taking a gamble and putting in Ashraful to open with Tamim?

I was waiting for this. I knew someone somewhere was going to somehow figure out a way to bring Sir Ash back into the discussion.

Nazim's footwork has serious issues. I hope the coach works on that as soon as possible. Got a very good delivery last night and so did mushfiq. One more failure and i guess we are back to Kayes.

Nah! Don't think he should play for the finals, but then again introducing a new batsman like Anamul might not be a good decision, especially when it's an important match for the team.....

The way Nazim couldn't play swing on our placid track, it doesn't bode well for him. He bats at the top order, so he's gotta be able to play swing but he hasn't been able to prove that he can play it. Also I understand subtontinental batsmen in general are not great in using their feet against pace but he keeps his feet glued which gives him a huge disadvantage since international bowlers bowl much quicker then domestic bowlers.

I think it's time that we give Anamul a go rather then going back to Kayes because we already know what he has to offer. Maybe we shouldn't insert him for the Pakistan match but maybe the next tour we should give him a go since he's supposed to be a big time talent and we need to find a player at this spot once and for all.

Whatever needs to be done can be sorted out after the final game. Don't want a new player opening at this stage.

I am not a cricket expert but the above picture says a lot about him that he is not even sure about his offstump...may be cricket pundit can tell better but if he does like that how the team will be benefited in final or future I am not sure...

Its not about knowing his offstump, but rather the foot movememt which is nonexistant.

The domestic bullying and the odd streaky runs at this level notwithstanding, he's simply not equipped to survive let alone contribute at this level. He's utter crap and a dangerous waste of space in the national team. I'm looking forward to better young players from Nasir's generation like Bijauy coming into the side ASAP. They're MORE THAN READY but most of the "experienced" players still aren't. Conventional wisdom doesn't apply to us yet.

That being said, he neither selected himself into the side nor ever claimed to be Tamim Iqbal 2.0. I don't hold him responsible for being what he isn't and cannot be while idiots want him to become something they need him to be by osmosis. It's the footwork stupid, and he ain't no Gayle or Sehwag, but a shoddily made in Jinjira version of Aftab instead.
