He did more then the whole team combined. And a better question is...what did the whole team do to help him out?

Very sad day for our cricket. I was so schocked to see how they have sacrificed their wickets. Farhad Reza...after what you did today.........you don't deserve a place in the team.I think problems are,

1. Our batsman does not know how to stick to their wickets, so they want to hit and hit as they know fully well that if they stay long their average will go to 5.
2. These boys know that there is no challenge for them as virtually there is no competitors. So, no matter what they do they will get selected.

To overcome these here is some suggestions,

1)Structure their pay by performance.
2)Our is a young team. If some one is a repeat bad performer then get some one from U-19. Our experienced player has let us down so far so I don't see any problem if we do this.

there is no fault of Ash as captain for this disaster. Maybe Ash should not have hooked so high balls.

Cheer up everyone!!!

Got to take the rough with the smooth. For every Eid days there might be ten "slaughter" days- such as today- for the next two years. The boys are STILL very young and inexperience at the international level. Ashraful is just beginning to come in terms with his game. In due time Aftab, Tamim, Zunaid, Shakib et el will too.

I'm sure they will do much better in Test matches. Today was just one of those days!

Good theory. I think they're more upset over her son's appointment as head of the PPP. Another good opportunity to escape the clutches of dynastic politics blown.

Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat.

-Theodore Roosevelt (1858 - 1919)

As I mentioned and predicted during the World Cup the Two Swallows made up for the Whole Year for Bangladesh Cricket, Wins against India and South Africa were the only ones they did manage! Another year of complete demolition by mental demons rather than opposition for the Bangladesh team. Better luck for 2008 and warm wishes for all the supporters here on Banglacricket forum.

প্রাথমিক শক্‌/মন খারাপ পর্ব শেষ। এর থেকে অনেক খারাপ দিন গেছে আমাদের দলের- আমরা ঘুরে দাড়াবোই।
