Good thing there is only Lakmal in the Sri Lanka side. Don't understand why they didnt pick another pacer.

If you can't play pace in the subcontinent then life is never gonna get easier for you Mosaddek. Now man up and survive this session.

Same reason Mash always prefer to have extra pacer.

I am okay with Shak attacking but he needs to learn the difference between aggressive and suicidal

BD need players with maturity into the test side. Nafeez, Tushar deserve call ups. Need some stable mature heads. Look at what Shakib does, despite been around since 2006, comes at the crease 5 down just had mini collapse, he plays such ignorantly?
Team lacks maturity, good old wise head. THE reason why ODI team has done well. ONE name, MASHRAFE BIN MORTAZA, and his old wise head, along with the good planing.

I wish Mashrafe never went through so many injuries.
I don’t mean to look down on the talent that Soumya and Sabbir represent. They are talented in their range of shots and fearlessness against any opposition. These qualities have heavily contributed to our rise in limited overs cricket.
But test cricket is tougher. It just is.

Pretty accurate. A guy with a 40 avg with the bat and 22 avg with the ball in test is no joke after 50 matches. Regardless of his nutbag moments, this guy delivers. Hence there is really no replacement for him ATM. I really don't see how some fans wants to drop him. No one likes his stupid attitudes he keeps throwing around, but he performs. Can't complain there.

Most frustrating thing is that top 6 batsmans (taijul doesn't count) all had start(kayes has the lowest score of 34) but none of them converted into triple digits.
Can shakib do it? Need it from shakib, Nd a fifty from Mosaddek Nd Miraz with 20+ will be nice. Need 450 minimum

I'm willing to give Musa the benifit of teh doubt...on debut facing a brand new ball. He does look at ease against Herath though. Lets see how he handles Sandakan.

At the same time it's not a co-incidence all of the key seniors are performing in the same match. Dropping one or two non performers can have this kind of effect on the others

We will be lucky to get 375. Not lucky, but it will require some good batting to get.
Of course in an ideal word Shakib and Musa both get hundreds and we rack up 500+ but the chances of that are slimmer than Mustafiz's waistline.

Don't put Soumya and Sabbir in the same bracket.
Soumya is far more talented, the most eye-pleasing BD batsman since Ashraful (while Mushy is the technically correct batsman we ever produced). His 50s look effortless, and he has a good head on his shoulders personality-wise. Needs to improve his decision-making, and he might just do that.
Sabbir too is very good technically, but his character is suspect - and I've been pointing this out for a while. He might forever remain a 30-avg batsman and not realize his potential, and his personality too might get him kicked out of the team like Nasir. But I don't think Sabbir is as bad as Nasir...Sabbir has more ghilu.
