Technically the match has started already for me. Howz your Rubik's cube solving going? I think solving blindfold is whole new ball game. Not there yet.

[Sorry for off topic banter.]

Just popped some nootropics to get in the zone for the match and stay awake. Our players should --- with these when touring abroad. (They are legit too.)

Just read in newspaper, sabbir will be in place of mithun, rubel place of fizz
I hope they do ... fizz pace won’t work against English caliber neither mash but he can’t be dropped due to his captincy and other matters ...
But will take it with both hand Sabbir appearance. He can play pace mithun can’t . Also sabbir can bowl 3 or 5 overs legi...

Hope mashraffe won’t lose the toss 3 times in a row ... English Playing with 5 pacers, definitely need luck here ... and I’m sure they will use green pitch against Bangladesh

I’m having a strong feeling that musfiq will be the destroyer against England match ... he became soundless after the Nz defeat, he is up to something big...pray to allah that he overcome the past situations. I’m thinking full team will be unleashed...because beat England means , shob gunah maf (everything will be forgiven)
Go tigers

Y not bring Ganguly for toss only. At least that would guarantee that we would win the toss.

I am not obsessed about blind fold curbing.

Currently my timings are 40-50s on average

Ganguly has the best toss record among asian teams. Please Mash, let ganguly do the toss so we can win the toss!

I was hearing Shariar Nafees' analysis on the match preview. He went with the same team. Another thing he pointed was that Mashrafe should take the new ball.

Mashrafe is up for some battering today. England openers will hit him around the park unless he gets his acts right. He has been bowling poorly in this World Cup.

Will we see Mashrafe bowl 0 overs today and play only as a captain and fielder?

We need to give more responsibility on Miraz and Saifuddin as all rounders and drop a batsman for Rubel

If we win the toss, should be bat first or bowl first?

Seems like a hard decision but I prefer batting first.

We should bowl first. England can chase potentially any target with their fire power. Let them set a target.

The keyword is potentially. Yes, Outside WC England successfully chased 350+ targets. In this WC, teams are struggling to chase anything close to 300.

SA failed against BD and ENG.
ENG failed against PAK.
AFG failed against SL.
WI failed against AUS.
NZ was jittery chasing 244 against BD.

If England bat first and set 300 or more, it will be game over for us. But it will also be game over for us if we bat first and score below 280.

Batting first still feels like a safer option to me given our team strength, but let see.

The wicket was under cover all day yesterday and it has plenty of grass covering. Not a good decision to bat against England quicks.

It feels different wanting to watch the tigers on TV after watching them live in the last two matches.
