He's actually got pretty decent technique. Him getting out doesn't prove otherwise, it just proves he didn't bat well enough to convert the start. He always looks good with the drives and everything, not so good against that shorter length ball, and this didn't get up much either.

That was a clever bowl to Jahurul though, one that is perfectly bouncer close to body for batsman who lacks in defending skill.

Never got a good solid run. He looked quite good...certainly better than Imrul and Nazimuddin. He should be the other opener, we can have a L-R combo, and drop Anam to his natural #3. Shakib should bat at 5 or 6 depending on how much bowling load he has. That leaves Naeem as the incumbunent 4, but I think Riyad should take it with Mushy and nasir finishing the top 7. Gazi comes in at 8, and then you can pick the remaining bowlers from Taskin, Rubel, Nazmul, Robiul, and Enamul. Mominul rides the bench for now.

Jahurul looked good to me with his drives... dunno what people are talking about. That bouncer stayed low so i'd go as far to say that it was an unlucky dismissal. Agree if al Furqaan. Tamim should open with Jahurul with Anamul at #3.

Dont get dissapointed guys, so this test was happening in a way like one wicket per session. So I hope they loose no more than one wicket after tea.

There's a massive difference between flaws in technique and terrible technique. Jahirul has decent footwork, strong bottom hand, decent timing etc. but still has flaws too which he should rectify asap - especially that with playing short balls and his temperament.

Fully agree, but I'm in two minds about Mominul - he might not be the player who gets you big runs, but still looks like a Nasir-esque player who can consistently chip in with 50s and dig you out of a hole. Otherwise I'd go with Jahirul and Tamim too, he's got to be the best option if Anamul is not opening (and ideally, he shouldn't).
