It would be a piece of cake to beat Australia in T20. They were number 10 right before the T20 WC and we barely made it top 10 last week.

With the mental attitude of our players, I dont see us beating Australia any day of the year in any format of the game. Our captain was happy we made 145 something against Pak in a batting paradise and felt we did good batting wise .
The only match I see which we may have a slight sniff is the NZ game as they might have already qualified by the time we face them and might be a bit relaxed.

Best chase ever at World T20, period.
Moment Hales and Roy started going from ball one, I knew this was going to be on track to chasing it down. England showed how you go on about a big chase, I hope BD players saw this. There is never too much enough on flat wicket, you need to back yourself play through the line, hard over the top. It's doable as long as you keep being positive on such wickets and England were that throughout the chase kept going and going. They did have some fortune like the many extras, but as they say; "fortune favours the brave".
Special mention to Root, and the opners Hales and Roy, Well done.

Needa open with a spinner. Aussies openers are too good with pace especially Khawaja. They are very shoddy against spin.

So we still have this minnow attitude when we pat our team at the back for scoring par scores and if a player scores 50 or something. Pathetic to see.

My hopes of beating Aus have increased with the inclusion of Hom.
Like I said in a thread few months back, Hom has some very private pictures of the selectors. There is no other reason that I can think of his inclusion.

I will take Hom over Nasir and I am being honest.
Hom can atleast edge a few, Nasir can't even put bat on ball and drops catch here and there. Also hom turns the ball more.
Then again, i am comparing two crap players. Muktar Ali would have been ideal

Hom might just well be the trick on flat wickets. Never know, I've seen him hit them big. On flar wickets he won't need worrying about movement of the ball or the wicket being two paced or not. This could well turn out to be a masterstroke.
Happy to see Saqlain Sajib finally get a chance to play at the international level, with his height he can generate bit more bounce (if there is any in the wicket) than Sunny. I'm ain't to unhappy about Sunny being banned, but, Taskin has been done by a cunning plan of the dushmon (you know who).

We should tell ICC that we will take no further part in this tournament. I mean we had a busy international schedule prior to this tournament, taskin bowled in the odi WC.. and now they are finding actions illegal in the middle of an on going tournament? This is ridiculous. Just come home boys... khelar dorkar nai..

good post. Pointed out good facts. And thanks for speaking out about it.
If it was upto me I'd return from it, take the players back.
Taskin has bowled in the biggest ICC event the WORLD CUP in Australia and New Zealand, front of the very best of umpires and no one found anything wrong with his action. BUT since that picture (during the asia cup), some unknown and unheard of, low quality Indian below average, umpire, reports him in the world t20. Something very Fishy, fishy, very much... Any one who has any sort of wise sense, know it well.

Agreed, but I think Rubel is out of favor at the moment. Don't know if he's playing any cricket currently.
