Hope the Rainman doesn't have the last say today and BD gets a chance to go for their first ever series win on a foreign soil away in Caribbean! Ash did a splendid job in the first ODI and deserved more compliments than what he really got from the sport fraternity, it's true BD will be flying if he also can find his form today along with Tamim, Shakib, Rokibul, Junaid and Mushfiq, however, I am afraid, a consecutive performance from Ash would be asking too much when one looks at his record, but anyways, it will be great going for BD today if he can deliver!

Whether to bat first or bowl depends on the pitch, batting first may not necessariliy be right if the pitch is tailor made for the fasts! If the pitch is again made a slow one, then BD will have a great prospect of winning irrespective of whether they bat or bowl first!

DHAT! Ghumaite parlam na ajkai!

Spent all of last night looking at stats and rankings and stuff. Good to see that we have both of Sakib and Masri in the top 10 of the ODI bowling column

Sakib`s all-rounder ranking curve is a steep one going up to number 1. This guy is way above any one else mashAllah! Hope he goes on to place himself amongst the best in batting too. So far he is good in bowling and all-rounder rankings. I hope he gets there with his batting too.

Mahmudullah has gotten himself into the bowling rankings of TEST cricket but nothing in ODI lmao.

Ash is sliding downhill.

Mushy is down again. Needs to climb back higher up to get into the charts of the top 100.

Rock is about to surpass Aftab

Tamim is just tagging behind Sakib in the ODI batting.

Show some ambition. I want the fear in South Africa, England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia (*), the West Indies, New Zealand *and* Zimbabwe.

(*) Notice how in the last series against Australia, they knew exactly where to bowl to the Tigers batsmen ... smell that ? Thats respect. They didnt go, she'll be right, go out and play, it's a win, they went OK, so what exact line do we bowl to get that bastard out, and then what line for that bastard and so on. It's the problem with getting good ; they react and then you have to get better.

I agree! WI will try to correct their mistakes, they now know the weakness of the BD batsmen, and will attack, especially the pacers, they know that BD batsmen are weak against pacers. Will be a more closely fought match.

I watched at Tamim's face and body language, he was upset at being out first ball, he will be more careful, I hope, and not let Ash come in to bat as an opener, so hoping that he and Junaid steady the innings at the beginning. Also Mushy and Saqib was upset when they got out. Raqib was careless, hope he fires a bit. If the batsmen had played more sensibly, they could have scored over 275 runs.

WI bat first, restrict them to under 225 if BD bat first, they have to make more than 250 runs. WI can bat well and have the ability to score quickly, and many of their batsmen can score double figures and a few fifties

Zainab,

If you're running 2 pacers in a one-day game, you're already relying on your spin attack for 3/5ths of your bowling.

As always, pick youre bowlers based on who you've got and on the conditions.
