Coach Dido has managed to enhance their general fitness level quite a bit. Before him, our guys used to run out of steam after the initial 35 minutes or so, if we were lucky. They still run out of steam after the initial 35 minutes but at twice the speed. Only 55 more minutes to go!
That said, until we reach the fitness levels of our Southeast Asians neighbors, or Indian players of predominately Sikkimese origin, we're unlikely to compete even at the lowest levels of Asian Soccer.

I know what you are saying bro...Im just hoping for a miracle considering Macau is one of the worst teams in the world! No disrespect but they are actually ranked 195 out of 202 nations!

No that is not correct. Match against 4th placed team in group dont count when they decide second placed team.
Maldives got 3 points and 4-5 in goal difference. Beating Macau 1-0 will give Bangladesh 3 points and 2-2 in goal difference. (Macau will be 4th placed team)
They had to do it after Afghanistan withdrew in Nepali group leaving that group with just three teams.
A draw is even enough if Cambodia dont beat Myanmar, let`s wait and see tomorrow.
I guess it is 98 % chance that Bangladesh qualify for finals

OMG! If this is true then you have no idea how happy u made me bro!!! So the match against the 4th place team definitely wont count???....Cuz if thats the case we are pretty much through...
However beating Macau will still give Bangladesh a +0 goal difference (1-0, 1-2 = 2-2) since the match against Macau wont count...which still should be good enough according to your argument since in that case Maldives goal difference will stay -1 (1-3, 3-2 = 4-5) !!!! Thats such a great news!!!!!
You are right , goal difference will be 2-2 anyway if Macau finish last . Edited that now. Maldives got 3 points and 4-5 in goal difference, which will be behind Bangladesh if Bangladesh win.
This is so confusing! What should we believe now??????????

Sports Reporter Bangladesh must score more than five goals in today's match against Macau if they are to have any chance to make it to the final round of the AFC Challenge Cup next year.
The hosts have a great chance to qualify as the best runners-up among the four qualifying groups if they can topple Maldives's goal difference that stands at four. Bangladesh must win and then make sure they win pretty big to make it to the competition with Myanmar, all set to become the group champions.
According to the AFC website, Maldives have six points from three games in the Group B qualifiers which ended on April 18. Bangladesh are on three points from two matches and a goal difference of zero but they have advantage of playing the last qualification match with the knowledge of exactly what they have to do.
Another advantage for Bangladesh is the quality of their opponents. Macau are the world's 195th ranked football team and have already lost 4-0 to Myanmar in Sunday's opening Group A game.
According to the AFC Challenge Cup by-laws, champions of each of the four group, the best runners-up of all four groups, North Korea, Tajikistan and defending champions India will play in the eight-team competition.
Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan and Sri Lanka have already qualified from the other three groups as champions and Myanmar are the strong contenders to claim the spot from Group A.
Bangladesh coach Shafiqul Islam Manik has said that his side will go for a win by a big margin. but did not want to take their opponents lightly.
"There is no question of taking Macau lightly since they are a good team and they will be playing under lights so I expect them to come out strong. Our team is well prepared and we are hungry for a win. We played well in our first match against Cambodia and quite the opposite against Myanmar. But, we can have a bad day and there is no use looking back at bygones we will come out fresh and play for a win," said Manik.
Myanmar has won both their encounters in this week's qualifiers and a victory today against small fries Cambodia will make them group champions.
Speaking about whether any changes have been made to the side Manik responded "One change is imperative from the last game as Nasir was red carded but we still have not decided the final eleven

Congrats to our footy boys for making it to the main stage of the AFC Cup.
I have high (relatively) hopes for our boys and esp for Dido.
Getting the team qualified within the first month of taking charge is no small achievement.
Our football team was practically in shambles and did not win the last 25 intl matches we played.
Even though the wins came against Cambodia and Macau, it is win nonetheless and we all are happy for it.
Now, Dido would have reasonable time to get his boys ready for the big day.
Btw, when does the AFC Cup begins?

Well stated.
Congrats to BD boys.
Nice to see some BD football players have already lost their rice tummy.
We need more stamina to play better football for 90 minutes.

All you need is some regular international matches and some hard work by the boys and the board.
With Salahuddin and Dido partnership, i have hopes for this team.

3 goals but poor passing and slower pace. I hope Coach Dido works on these things as he's planning to before "the big dance" ...
