I cant believe this. ONE Run, so sad, the two batsmen who were scoring the runs failed the team. If Babu did not get run out, they would have won. My God, they should have won this, A loss is a loss.
Now if they lose to Pakistan, they are out of the QF.

The education system in BD needs to be improved. The IQ of Bengalis living in Bangladesh seems to be relatively low.

PS: this is totally out of frustration.

2 runs required of 4 balls with two wickets left! How did we lose it from there?

Only positive is that the NRR hasn't been affected much.

I am sure the boys will not get much sleep tonight. It will play on their minds. Luckily, they are not playing tomorrow. They have enough time to gather their thoughts.
WI will surely progress to the QF now, dont see any problem for them to beat PNG

Those fools could have even secure the match level, but has to be run out leaving few balls to play and lose the game. What a blunder! Very disappointing.

Actually, I'll give the cubs some credit for making such a fight of it, when things were not going their way.

They could have even scored 1 more run to equal the score without getting run out.

Just read on Cricinfo>

But West Indies were still to play their best card. Haque was bowled by the medium-pacer Jason Holder for 54 with the third ball, and on the fourth Shaker was run out. Bangladesh had lost a thriller, running out of steam on the home-stretch, but despite the loss they stayed top of Group D having won their opening match

So BD is still in the running.

I would too, but losing it from when we needed 2 off 4 with 2 in hand is unacceptable. They better win the world cup to make up for this.
