If Liton got the 100 and batted some more overs 230balls. Would’ve been so much more helpful. He was batting superbly!

I don’t think Liton will get another chance to score a ton on good batting deck. Even if he does get a good wicket. Unlikely to see him getting a test ton for next 6months!

Let me put that in perspective:

That would be arguably one of the most under pressure centuries in our test history. Team under dire straits, your performance has been poor, 5th day's pitch, you are on a king pair. You do all the hard work and then you give it away.

The way I see it, its still a 50 from Litton but a century is a century. That would be the first century from a youngster in 3 years.

You're right. But atleast he has given enough justification to remain in the team for the next 6 months.

Liton being so well set, done so well under pressure batted with ease. Didnt expect that pathetic shot. I reckon if he got his ton, would’ve got 150 too!

If it was the case BD is 200 plus ahead with 40ov left, 6batsmen left. Fair enough, trying to do it with a six. Still doesnt mean you should.
