Mosharraf is out of the team only after one match !!! Our khati deshi management is no less impatient than most of the fans here are.

why is BC so Slow?
At tea 216/3. Both batter got 50+. Wish our batsmen would learn some thing by watching them... I bet we will be out in both inning chasing their big total...

354/4...in one day...that's what happens when we have Nazmul apa opens the bowling and so called spinners play. it's a county team so they have good players but with our players how we expect them to win! When BD will bat all of a sudden this high scoring game will turn upside down.

How is that ? Mosharraf is a specialist spinner whereas Sakib is a specialist batsman who can bowl. Sakib is a fine containment bowler for one-day matches, but you can't relay on him to take wickets in longer version.
This is a selection mess made by Selim-Osman-Nannu trio. On a batting track, they have decided to leave the only specialist spinner in the squad out of the team !!!

Very good batting by Leicester. How many test players we had today? Eight. Taking 4 wickets in 90 over is far from a good performance. Hope tomorrow we will bat well enough to score more than they scored.... BTW how much we have to score to avoid follow on?

That's what I also thought. Mosha should have been there. Sakib can't b his replacement. Sakib should have replaced Nazim/any batsman,
..... even Rajin (just example)

Whatever Leics end up scoring in first innings, we have to be within 150 runs of that score.

LOL...If they declare where they are after 1st day then we have to score 154 to avoid the follow on. Anyway as far as the scorecard shows Shakib was by far the best the bowler in that line up, really hoping to see this bowling form in the international arena cause we are lacking quality spinners now. Razzak too seems out of sorts although he took few wickets here and there but the rest it would be better if i not mention.

1.After how we almost lost the last match in 1/2 day the selectors probably thought we need more batter in the team who can bowl too. so Sakiq gets in Moharrafs place.
2.The selectors might have known/seen that Mosharraf wont be able to take wickets anyway. I don't think he did any thing good that would tell us that he would get a lot of wicket in a batting track.

Sorry, that is incorrect. 205 to avoid followon on a 354 score. the gap must be less than 150 to avoid follow on in a 3 day match.

Nope, they did not pick any extra batsman, the number of specialist batsman is 6 (not counting Mushfiq) as it was in the last match. They picked an extra pacer - a decision that backfired as pacers, on average, gave away 4 runs per over, without much success taking wickets.

|
If they don't have trust in Mosharraf, why to drag him all the way to England ?
We got to develop a spinner for longer version, and Mosharraf deserves a fair trial based on his performances in domestic leagues, in previos academy and A-team tours.
