Guys, lets be logical. We must use the press. Leading dailies would be ready to publish a professional looking article about this debacle. We are a large community, yet we dont do anything to make ourselves heard!

Baker Bhai got hanged in the drama serial 'Kothao Keu Nei' despite people marched in demand of his release before the episode on TV. However, it doesn't matter if it works or not - making this an issue would be good enough for this matter.

Written requests to Newspaper editors might prove fruitful as well (just in case dailies take this matter seriously and start media propaganda on what the fans are thinking on this matter).

I am not sure whether Ricard McInnes is interested to take the job or not.

He seems to be quite happy with his current assignment. Haven't heard anything from him to believe that he is still willing to take the chair.

Shouldn't we check with him before starting any petition?

IMO, this can a be a personal petition, but to associate BanglaCricket with it , we must make sure that Richard is happy to leave his current portfolio to take Bangladesh job.

I just Richard doesnt want to seem like a needy guy, the man has his pride.

But Richard knows the potential of this team, imagine the success he'll have to be the guy who coached Bangladesh to be 2011 WC champions.

When RM came to BC last time, he showed enough interest for this job. But if BCB is not considering him for the job, obviously he won't go around begging them to take him. Just like Nafi said, he has his pride and will continue to do what he is doing to his best ability. Maybe we can do the petition to make BCB consider him for the job and contact him for the job.

Folks,

Please go ahead and post at the REAL ONLINE PETITION if you like the idea. I do.

Those who have already put your names down here, may also wish to take the trouble to sign up again THERE.

Thanks.

Peace, Sohel ...

No doubt bcb should install Richard McInness as coach, he certainly deserves it. But I think a mentally strong character such as Steve Waugh should be targeted in order to instil a similar work ethic into our young players who have tendecies to be complacent or lazy.

Thanks everyone for participating. It is the very act of particiapation which makes all of us winners irrespective of the outcome. We sent a messege from the bottom of their hearts and it was heard loud and clear by everyone associated with our cricket.

Now, as the OBSERVER insinuated in his classy post, lets get behind Coach Siddions 100% ...
