Don't worry. BD boys will not let that happen. I want Shahadat and Junaid in the team. Doesn't matter who gets dropped. Preferably Mash, Rokibul or Mahmudullah.

Go the Bangladesh Tigers. Lets play cricket the hard way. Lets kick some serious Irish amateur arse.

if u drop riad then his replacement should be a bowler.

no point playing 3 openers and then playing one of them playing out of natutral positions. nafees never looked comfortobale when he was brought back to play no3 or no4

junaed had some good knocks against NZ and SA in tests and certainly has lot of time to improve. now tamim and nafees doing well so let them continue. and when some of them are injured out of form we know junaed is there

Bcuz your graph is wrong.

He is not playing for 4 yrs is he?

He is only playing for around 2 yrss. If you get your years right, then you will see a nice graph.

Those aren't his actual years but seasons. For example, 2006=1 years, 2006/2007=2 years, 2007=3yrs, 2007/2008= 4years. So it is actually "ave vs season."

We shouldn't get carried away by the five wicket haul by Reza. I have seen the match, the batsman really gifted him the wickets, on most cases. Don't forget those brilliant catches by aftab and Nafees, even the Aussies will bite their nails when seeing those catches. What I am trying to say is that, giving the new ball to Reza shouldn't be a long term thing, it can only be tested against weaker opponents. For the last Odi, we should give a chance to Shahdat to get back to match fitness before the series against pakistan. I just don't understand why the BD selectors are so worried about strengthining their batting line up against Ireland ! Its surprising ! Having 6 frontline batsman is more than enough against the toothless bowling attack of Ireland. Then again, the bd selectors are known for their make shift whole sale changes. Nothing new !

Dont blame the selectors, I think that Siddons has a huge impact on the selection of the final 11. I feel that Shahadat and Junaid should be given a chance and two other players rested.

You have raised few good questions.

"Giving the new ball to Reza shouldn't be a long term thing"
I think most of the fans as well as Siddon recognize that. Its a short gap solution. How long (and when) Reza will do that duty? It depends on few factors: 1) Field Condition, 2) Opponent, 3) Strength of our front 5 batsman and how they develop, 4) Available other option in all-rounder position.

"I have seen the match, the batsman really gifted him the wickets, on most cases."
Well, we hear this by some fans against some players; and on the other had we also hear some players are constantly unlucky for not getting wicket or getting out (for batsman). For the sake of the argument, if we agree with both of the comments, looks like there may be two types of players in the team, a) The lucky one's and b) the unlucky one's. IF that is the case, still shouldn't we pick the players who are the lucky one? Because the bottom line is production and whats in the score card thats what we are looking for. Plus lucky player will bring good luck to the team and unlucky players will bring nothing but trouble. No?
