i support abul. he is consistent in warm up tournament before pak series and now in NCL. plus he can bat. i am sure he is better than this shohid.
next test--- abul or alamin or robiul should play and both shohid and rubel should be out

Raju is talented but he is not there yet. He needs to improve his bowling. However he is a good all rounder in making. Good luck.

Shahid actually bowled pretty well with comparatively lower economy rate, he deserves to be in the second test, it's rubel we need to get rid off. We should pick either Taskin or Mustafizur, both probably has the best record in first claas domestic cricket, albeit playing less matches.

Bradbul got selected? I am more concerned about spinners though. For us, pacers are dudhvaat in tests

I dont agree with all the Abul fans here. As I said earlier in another thread, some of u guys and the board included need to stop this pathetic pursuit of making Abul into an allrounder. Lets just say, I agree with you guys on the potential part. Than what? Mustafizur has more potential, Shuvahsish has more potential... why would I not pick them and pick him? Because he can bat? But last time we checked, we dont have proper seamers for the test squad to begin with. Why would I look to create a seam allrounder when I dont have a genuine one in the first place? If we had a situation where we have 2 good seamers and we can depend on them... we could have taken the luxury of experimenting with Abul as the third who can bat well. A wicket and 30 runs would justify his slot. But now we pick him as one of the 3 or 4 strike bowlers and at most we can expect 1 wicket every 2 innings... who is gonna take the other ones? Cant expect our spinners to bail us out everytime... it doesnt work in the first innings at the very least. So the game is out of our hands in the first 2 innings!
Basically, Abul can be the greatest prospect but he is not legendary enough for me to play him as a strike seamer in test cricket where u need to have at least one of control, aggression, swing, bounce, pace.... he has none! He is no more fit than Shafiul or Robiul because he gets injured pretty often too! I wont rate his batting because thats something that could be an extra attribute. I have players piling up double tons and not getting a chance to play so no thanks!
That being said, I really hope he performs if selected for the main XI. And by perform I mean with the bowl! If he can get 3-4 wickets in every game and keeping it tight... I would take 10 consecutive ducks with a smile

The guy takes his career best bowling just now and gets bashing. We need Abul and get rid of 8th batsman. Abul can bat at 8. He should be a certain at Tests.

Bro some few our so called expert fans think they know better than coaches. they think they are the experts..... some these probably bashed Mahmudullah and Tamim not so long ago. I guess some of us, do have ignorance and arrogance like Pakistanis and Indians type (passed on to us somehow).

Let's not start calling names. Abut has has supporters (like me) and he has also done (or not done) enough to have detractors. At the end, all of us wish the best for the Tigers.

dont understimate our selectors
they select kayes--despite his recent failure and he showed his class and determination
abul might be MOM, if selected. this guy has spark--he scored a century at #11 position. show some respect
i want abul and shahadat bowl in test (prefer alamin and robiul)--but they are not in the squad

Good tactic from the selectors. Our pacers can't take Test wickets so may as well play one that can contribute with the bat.
