I was expecting inclusion of either Razzak Raj or Enamul Haq, Jr. Is Aftab Ahmed a better all-rounder given his performance against NZ as a bowler?

Dhaka time: 9:30 AM
Thailand time: 10:30 AM
India time: 9 AM
Pakistan time: 8:30 AM
Eastern Standard Time: 10:30 PM

Default Current weather condition
Can anyone help us informing about the current weather condition in Dhaka. Is there fog or anything which could make any effect on the game now....Pls inform the forum.

Yes, due conditions due to fog and as per the ESPN commentary, it is because the grounds-men had put too much water on the pitch yesterday evening and since its winter-time, sun comes out lighter than usual, so possibly the game will start after lunch.

Match State: Day 1 start delayed due to wet conditions (inspection at 10:00 local time)

Hello and welcome to Wisden Cricinfo's live coverage of the first
Test between India and Bangladesh being played at the Bangabandhu
National Stadium, Dhaka.
start will be delayed due to wet conditions, dampness caused not by
rain but from the condensation of dew!
the pitch is bit damp and that is the major problem at the moment
thankfully the sun is slowly beginning to take effect, we will keep
you posted as things move along
