English kidz seems to be rocking. Only BD can teach them a lesson. The revenge will be honey-sweet.

I'm kind of getting tired of these U-19 hypes. We always do this and that at this level but when these same kids go to the real world, all the tigers suddenly become sheep. They all are loosing track somewhere, and no one seems to care.

It's a process, and it will take a while. We've been shoving our U-19's into the national team too early for a while now, but all that's changing. We're getting there.
I like the Australian way of selecting players for the national team. You're lucky if you get to debut at 28. By then, given the standard of their domestic cricket, the guys get so bhajafied that they blend in and can cope with the demands of international cricket pretty easily.
We won't have the same kind of luck unless our domestic leagues improve, and that will only happen with time.

the boys all have great talent. but they have little to no understanding of the game. cricket is as cerebral a sport as they come (with the exception of american football which is rocket science compared to all other sports). our boys have the potential, they don't have the guiding force to teach them how and when to do what they have the ability to do. add to that that we as a nation are fairly easily satisfied. we don't have a cricketing history and hence there isn't a drive to become a national legend, because guys like our national teamers are already legends after playing a mere 50 matches.
malcolm x once said "as long as you are convinced you never did anything, you can never do anything". our country has not done anything in cricket, hence we are over the moon with winning 5-6 ODIs against top sides.
once our boys realize that pushing test matches to a 4th and 5 day (or taking 15 wickets per match) is more important than beating the #1 ranked ODI side by 200 runs and then losing the next 20 matches after, we'll be firmly on the right track.

With our firepower and record,,,, I dont think expecting a 300 plus score is practical. We are still the 200 something team..!!
