But, presidents do not wield much power in Bangladesh. They are largely ceremonious. Instead, you should shoot for the Prime Minister position.

reminds me of a joke..

Man : Doctor, how do I live a long life
Doctor : do you smoke?
Man : No
Doctor : Do you drink?
Man : No
Doctor : Do you have sex with many women?
Man : No
Doctor : Are you religious?
Man : Yes
Doctor : Then why do you want to live a long life?

I disagree. Enjoying life is what its all about. I myself don't drink or smoke but I definitely enjoy life. My definition of enjoying life is spending time with my wife and kid, going on trips, enjoying nature and playing/enjoying sports. I don't do anything I think is wrong, therefore I'm not bound by chains of religion.

work is only as difficult as you make it. I have the luxury of managing my team the way I want and a cool director to report to. However, I also believe that my attitude and approach to things have made life enjoyable for me. I'm very proactive in nature and usually have the chess player vision of planning two steps ahead for the likely scenarios to come.

But most importantly, its about understanding whats worth agonizing over and whats not.

A few simple rules:

1. Money does buy you happiness. If not, you're not spending your money properly
2. Religion is like a bright light. It helps you see where otherwise they would be darkness, but when you stare directly into it, you go blind. Use religion as a supplement to life, don't make it your life.
3. Enjoy the good in everything and don't confuse the love of one thing to automatically mean the hate of its opposite
4. Make a list of things that make you happy and try to do as many of those as you can in a realistic fashion. Don't agonize over what you can't.
5. Except reality as a fact. Don't dig deep into meanings. Look forward to the solution and prevention Spend as little time as possible on the blame game.

Depends on your interpretation. the key is 'spending properly'. If you are buying things beyond your capability or spending to show off you're nto spending money for your happiness. If you spend for what makes you happy within your capacity (be it expensive toys or charity) money can buy you happiness.

If you're saving away for a rainy day but not enjoying the sunny days, whats the point?
