dont worry the video of this will be analyzed from a gazillion perspective over the next few months on exactly what happened. Why Sunny was that stupid, or what Powell did right/wrong or what the rule book says etc... but no one can take the victory away (no one will be appealing to ICC to penalize us atleast)...

Sunny is just the reflection of our overly sentimental nation who lost it in the middle of those nerve wracking moments and the moment of victory. This should be a lesson for everyone else on the team (and Sunny hopefully got his jonmer shikkha)....

Yo, y'all learned how to do the Sunny Style?

It's easy, just take bat and run down the track without finishing your run, and come back to your starting point.

And that's how you do the Sunny Style.

i was guessing the incident where sunny would have been out in the striking end. we were lucky that nasir went back to the striking end and sunny went back to the non-striking end.

That was really Stupid. Anyways, I hope he gets some jhaari from the coach & the captain. And follows the ball whenever he's taking a run..

Forget Sunny man its that stupid Bangladesh umpire who made pathetic decisions. What was he trying to prove? that he's not biased? please! I thought that West Indian umpire Billy Docktrove was officiating in that game.

Sunny's common sense made me laugh, I was shocked. We could not understand what the heck was going on. All the people joyed twice when Nasir blasted that out of the ground, it was a joke, more than a chaos. Don't know what to say, never seen that in cricket.

But it was we after all who overcame it. Thanks TIGERS once again.

sunny is dumb, but we got lucky that both the batsmen were at the crease by the time the ball is fetched by the fielders, so they couldn't runout any of the batsmen Power tried to run one out.

had it been both batsman at the middle of the pitch, both could go runout

I don't think there is way to run-out both at the same time. As soon as you get the first run-out, the ball is dead. Cricket pundits?

Nasir was smart. After he went to non-striker's end, he saw Sunny standing there too. He pushed him to go and run. Sunny didn't and so Nasir came back to his own end.

I agree. You can't get two outs in a ball. However, that could make Nasir stranded at the non strikers end, #11 could face the ball and we could tie the series. It was awful however you look at it.

That was the dumbest thing I have ever witnessed. Really, a school cricketer wouldn't have made that mistake. And I know we hear that a lot, but no really, this time it totally applies.
Don't know what was more dumb, the fact that he did not complete the run, or the fact while both were at the same end, it was nasir that decided to run back, if sunny ran back than it was a run and the match was won right there....

It happens. Celebration fail. Darowan award and what not. But bottomline...me being spiritual and all...God's way of testing how badly we want the winning run. At the end we overcame almost every conceivable impediment. If it was tie, we would forever rue it. "EVERY RUN COUNTS"....and our players need to realize Yogi Berra maxim: It aint over till it's over.

I know people are upset and raging their anger on Sunny, but hey come on seriously anyone can have a bad day even worse day like what happened to Sunny yesterday. Sunny was in the crease so there was no chance for runout.. Aprat from that it is a human mistake, anyone could do that on that particular moment, i mean anyone in a tense situation like this. So don't know why bothering making him big culprit when at the end we won the match.

Please people just give him some break. He did yesterday(I mean day before yesterday) very fine despite we lost the game if we had won that game he was the most diamond of our team by all of you now. So, save your words and give the players respects.

This.

Brain farts happen to the best of us. Let's move on. We have forgiven Mash. We are about to forgive Shafiul. SRK will be forgiven soon.

We all have bad days at the office. Happened to Sunny last night.

sunny deserves to be humiliated by the public so that he learns the lesson of his life...don't make excuses for an international cricketer messing up the simple basics of the game...and don't even get me started on his dumb expressions...he simply had no clue what's going on! remember these 11 men are representing our country and the fans...when they acts like morons, we the people get labelled as morons...and i have a big problem with that! i want other countries to respect us and our team and not make fun of us!

some harsh comments on here. Give the guy a break! He obviously got a bit excited thinking it went for four and he realised this and atleast stayed in his crease to prevent further calamity so give him credit for that atleast!
