Shafin, keep on opening the threads. We seem to win when you open the thread. We don't want to jinx it.

By the way, when I was at BUET I had very little time between sessionals and homeworks. I did play a bit of cricket. That I had to do almost to the level of addiction. You seem to have a lot of time. Things must have mellowed down at the old school.

Openning of threads much earlier ends up with non-related things like "Birthday Greetings". At this stage it does not look like a thread on ODI.

just following the news today in daily jankantha. They are reporting that there will be super sub for the whole series. They named M. Rana as super sub in the report since the pitch in Fatullah is expected to be slow.

There is nothing wrong greeting birthday boys in a match thread- it’s always good to create a good and friendly atmosphere among the members by greeting for a rare occasion. A match thread doesn’t have to be always cricket..cricket…and cricket.

BTW, people who are not interested in reading anything other than cricket related posts could ignore those posts. It’s not that difficult.

Early opening of a match thread could be easily stopped if BC imposes a new rule not allowing members to open a match thread sooner than 24 hours before the match starts.
