he just needs to sort his head, he had seemed to of worked it out previously, he still has 4 test tons to his name which is the next best after ashraful, one better than habibul and then shakib and mushy are on 2. so as far as test tons he's been better than anyone else to date, his poor run since 2010 has unfortunately put a hold on things as he really should have equalled or passed ashraful's 6 test tons by now.

but when it comes down to it tamim has the most test tons out of this group, one of the best averages, he has a similar amount of runs as shakib and mushy which are 2 of the best players in the team and 2 of the best players BD has ever produced. if he starts falling behind these guys that's when we've really got to worry, but i feel if tamim was to fall behind these guys then he would be motivated to get back there with them.

Tamim needs to work with his current weakness against the fuller deliveries outside the offstamp. Today he has been so lucky to get life twice!!! It won't happen everyday.

And British American Tobacco Bangladesh Ltd should somehow convince Tamim to stop using their products!

missed a Test ton for 5 runs
anyway, made good use of his luck after two dropped chances early on.

on a different note, I don't understand all the media hype about TI playing in CTG, I mean I don't remember him doing anything much in CTG, most of his big scores are in Dhaka.
ajera!

The F&H Superstar Brand Ambassador and Spokesman just ran out of luck. No other way to describe an innings with a dozen streaky shots including two lives. Anyway, I give him credit for channeling his inner HaBa so teasingly. KaEdge is a proud man today.

95 after two lives isn't that great.

its great by tamim's standard because in his opinion even someone who scores a 50 should have had his name written in the Lord's honour board

Even with lady luck on his side, he must have edged it more than half a dozen times, TI still couldn't score a century. He'll never be this lucky.

New reason to pick Tamim over Kaedge in Tests: Kaedge will edge his way to a 90 too fast, whereas Tamim will do the same but last longer and kill some time.

Anybody else think that Tamim has just not bad been the same since 2010 when he hit 3 tons in a year and that too against India and England. He just doesn't seem to have the same type of confidence to him anymore in Tests. Yesterday he was better but I'd like him to be more sure of himself and if he wants to hit, then go for it. He was half hearted on a lot of strokes and really didn't deserve to hit a century because of that.

Islam wrote the article out of facts, not imagination.

Good article.

shob kothar shesh kotha hoitasey haati morleo daam lakh taka, Tamim jotoi khocha maruk ba bhagger upor nirbhorshil hok he still scored a 45 & then a 95 after a golden duck.
OweMe,Junaid,Vijay ra hoile hoyto 20-30 koira out hoito.
That is why they say (janina ke bole) u don't drop(catch) players like Tamim.
I still remember the 1st ODI vs England in Dhaka when nobagoto Eoin Morgen had dropped Tamim & then Tamim scored a 125 something.

how is it harsh?

Tamim makes mistakes that you would expect from an average 24 year old cricketer(though his real age about 26 me thinks)

But we all know that he is an experienced player and he has been in the international arena since 2007! Now thats a long time and to make this sort of rookie mistakes is unacceptable for an experienced campaigner. Now if someone like tamim does it, why should we blame mominul or anamul to give up their wicket like they did in this match?

Wow TIK looks lean, must have lost a few lbs today, played for the team with great effort and determination.

I did watch the game. At his level he should have got to 100. H did the hard work, then Just threw his hard work away. He did well for the team, but whenever he plays slow like that, he can never survive long enough to reward himself, his team & fans with a100.
