are from the proper Sylhet !! Have to say that Kapali is from same are where I brought up Baghbari area !! But I left the country 16 years ago, probably kapali was a unknown little kid than )

Nazmul should play with Rubel instead of Shafiul. Shafiul looks out of form. Even Shahadat looks in better touch than Shafiul

Well that's the class Alok has, right? He looks so good on a pitch where others struggle. He just has to stay more consistent. He should be able to get in to the WI series so let's hope he gets a good run and makes it count this time.

I don't think Alok has any chance,
JAfarullah interviewed Akram Kh & Jaf was saying Alok did very well, then AK said,ya he did well today but not well in the prev matches.

You're right, close to Mymensingh than the town of Dhaka or district of Dhaka. But both Mymensing and Jamalpur are in Dhaka Division .
Administrative divisions are a whole separate issue, but basically BD is divided into divisions which comprise a number of districts.
So Jamalpur is in Dhaka division but is a district in its own right which is located (as you say) some miles away from the town of Dhaka...

If not anything else; this tournement has alrady shut quiet a few fans... who were out changing the entire team with Academy and untested A team guys, every morning .... And also the abuses directed towards the sellectors have vanished .... No need to say that, this will benefit the National team players to have some peace of mind to play for atleast a year or two ... untill some new fans are hatched ...

Thanks for the info bhai. Ya my parents had to explain to me a few times how BD is divided. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. Actually come to think of it, Jamalpur's right near my dada bari.

yes totally agree with you bro, this problem is so bothering for most of our players especially those guys who looks more than very capable. This is the area I think coach should work with such type of players and polish their mistakes and let them service the country..

I agree, Alok will find it tough getting into the ODI side.
I suspect the only reason he is in the "national" team for this competition is because the selectors wanted Riyad to lead the A team so they could see first hand his captaincy capabilities. Otherwise I imagine Alok would have been relegated to the A team (perhaps even as skipper).
I imagine he'll be in the ODI squad, but won't make the final XI. It'll be like that series against Australia; he might play the last game when he has no chance of making a lasting impression. It's not fair on him to be made a stop-gap player, but with allrounders like Nasir, Naeem and Shubgato showing promise, things will only get harder for Alok.
The only way for him to get a look in is if the selectors lose faith in Ashraful.
I expect him to play in the T20 though...

Alok needs to hit three consecutive centuries to convince Akram for getting sellected ... even that may fall short....
