the 12 overs by the seamers... was not needed. Poor Captaincy there. At least the run count would have been less.

With more competition for batting spots, hopefully we'll have a strong batting lineup in a year or 2.

I think, all things considered, we should certainly feel positive about the batting lineup. Tamim, Shakib, Mushy, and Nasir look like they can all be dependable batsmen capable of big scores. I think Jahurul, Mominul, Naeem, and Mahmudullah (this test notwithstanding) can be solid contributors as well, all capable of constructive partnerships. It was not long ago that we were used to having maybe one or two batsmen who could perform to an acceptable international standard. Now we have a deep lineup. Our average test innings score is steadily rising. There has been definite progress on the batting side, and I expect it to continue.
The bowling, however, is a huge problem right now. Aside from Gazi and maybe Shakib when he comes back, we look completely toothless. It is hard to see how we will win any tests without some semblance of an actual attack. And unfortunately I don't see where that attack will come from. We need to find a way to send young pacers off to other countries to develop or something. But there's no immediate relief in sight...

Herath too good. BAN batsmen can learn a lot from Sangakkara.

Culprit of second Innings Ullah and Nasir! Gazi bhia not lived up to his expectation.
Main Victim (Abdur Razaak) if herath can do this our razzak would have done better! (Poor Team Management)

Rabz: "We need a miracle of historic proportion to win from here. May be a double hat-rick by Ashraful's double bounce doosra that will have Murali and Warne both in four consecutive deliveries ?? Ah, its over even before the fat lady could sing !!"

Not sure about the Test matches. BAN need to handle Herath to have a chance.

I want to see Sanga batting right handed from here on.
Im serious.
But I guess being a true gentleman and utterly professional, he would never do that.

He's OK in ODI. Pretty sure even his better ODI performances have come against minnows. Don't know about his Test stats, but I can say he's not a very good Test bowler from what I've seen.
