You are right it's "wrong-uns" or "googlies" are more accepted terminology for leg spinners.

A doosra (Urdu: دوسرا, doo-srah) is a particular type of delivery by an off spin bowler in the sport of cricket, invented by Pakistani cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq. The term comes from the word do, which means "two" in Urdu and Hindi, and in this context means "the other one" (it literally means "second" or "the second one").
The bowler delivers the ball with the same finger action as a normal off break, but cocks the wrist so the back of the hand faces towards the batsman. This gives the ball spin in the opposite direction to an off break, causing it to spin from the leg side to the off side to a right-handed batsman.
|
Hope no one goes psycho.....but that is apparently the doosra

5 runs from the last 6 balls.... we gave a good fight considering we scored only 116. Our batting let us down :-(

It's a disappointing result, but it's a practice match and the loss means our weaknesses are more exposed, and team management will have some time before the World Cup to sort them out.
I am disheartened but not demoralized.

is that Mashrafe suffering some form of injury .. in every match he is giving too many runs without taking many wickets. his contribution with the bat is also minimal except one match.. what the hell happened to him?
