Thank you Lex,
We as a fan know that but our players I am not sure they know that or not. With out hard work nothing can be done. back to the drawing board after today.

I have never ONCE heard Atahar say that we played poorly today. Talking about age group cricket .... shameless.

Atahar is using very poor logic though. The guy should not try to defend such situation. Rather he should just say things like this can happen. No point in arguing these. Manjrekar, few minutes ago was bad mouthing as well.

even after 5 years of international cricket, we are still not able to produce a reliable batting line-up. SHAME

India scored 48/8 few days before against New Zealand. They just safe because of Irfan Pathan. So Bangladesh done well than them.

Atahar is trying to defend what Manjrekar has told about Bangldesh. Some one should remind him India lost to Bangladesh.

Honestly speaking Bangladesh does not get much help from the bigger nations. Anything that people see happenning is a very recent phenomenon. The ball started rolling in the past two years. People like Atahar should say that the development really started 2 years ago and Bangladesh in its ODI history did not get much help from our dear friends like India or Pakistan.

It has been really 2 years and not 5 in my opinion. Besides, the last two matches were lost (arguably) due to really poor bowling attack.

actually we should blame the ICC for getting bangladesh into this! They should have made sure that BD has most of the first class infrastructure in place before exposing them to international cricket.

Of all the subcontinent teams Sri Lanka is the strongest and I am not surprised by the outcome. These guys are quite professional. If we are playing India and Pakistan there are higher chances of more break throughs.

If critising to Bangladesh is the solution, then it is an answer to everything.

Not really. For Bangladesh it was catch 22. Don't feel embarased. Rather take pride in what the team has achieved in only 2 years. Don't get confused by the statistics these commentators are trying to show.

I would agree with ZunaidH. SL is probably the best team in the subcontinent Then again any good team would at least put up a fight which we have not yet seen from our players.

Bangladesh never played well against Sri Lanka. They already played well against every team. Except this Sri Lanka. There was an article in today's prothom-alo in the sports page today. Visit http://www.prothom-alo.com and read that article in the Sports page.

SL is the best team in the sub continent no doubt, but even that does not excuse going from 48 for no loss to 55/7.
