Indeed. I hope BCB will take the necessary steps ASAP.
I am motivated to see how inspired and pasionate our PM is about our cricket ):

Problem is that they are all after instant gratification, got no long term goals.
Have to say though, kudos to Lotus Kamal for not taking McInnes out of Academy, which could have jeoperdized our development program.

Typical Bangladeshis... If you lose one series then sack the coach, win the next one then make him head coach for 10 years. There is no balance, let's see how he does in next few series, and also how pacers perform seeing as he is the pace bowling coach. But he has certainly earned himself couple more series to prove himself.

I was present in the stadium last night. During innings break, we saw Shane was working with Rubel and Abul. They kept 2 marks in the center wicket (not the one which was used yesterday). One is at the good length mark and another is at the yorker mark. The boys were bowling and shane was keeping.
I must say that our boys were not hitting the spots regularly.

I'm still not in favor of making Jurgensen the head coach. He played his role as the temporary HC well, so hats off to him. Now it's time to find a permanent one with good resume.

I dont think any decision will be made until the election.
We are actually caught in a bit of quandary regarding the head coach role. In one hand SJ has been able to cultivate a positive environment, with the players having self belief, motivation and the intent to win. SJ has also been around wont probably expect a thumping compensation package, shouldnt have acclimatization issues, and will probably not give us the problems more established coaches like Stuart Law and Richard Pybus gave us.
On the other hand a tougher coach like Whatmore will instill a lot more discipline and authority. Rules regarding what shot to play, about building partnerships, about not conceding wides and no balls. About not dropping catches. They are also likely to take a front seat role in actively helping a player improve his individual ability and performance. Sth Siddons also used to do with our batsmen.
