I know I'm going to sound like an old fogey here, but if you want to adopt Nazrul's "Chol-chol-chol", I don't see why you have to swoon over these newer remixed versions where you can hardly make out the lyrics. It is at its core a marching song, and sung best, IMO, with a marching/parade band accompaniment, as in this version.
Remember also that what you want for a sports anthem is a song can be sung by essentially everyone (even tone-deaf people, not just trained singers) without requiring complex instruments or synthesizers. I think that criterion works against some of the other songs already suggested -- I suspect most of you would have trouble singing them by yourself without any cues or accompaniment.
As for co-opting "Chol-chol-chol" as a sports anthem, I believe our armed forces already have dibs on it.
"Urbe bole tomar amar lal shobujet potaka" is definitely my new favourite! The chol chol chol remixed version would be good too if they could make a nice cricket related video to complement it.

1. Nazrul's Chol Chol Chol (truly awe-inspiring as ever... always gets the adrenalines rushing)
2. GrameenPhone's Charidike Baaje Madol - Bangladesh's WC '07 Official Song (THE best music video i've ever seen... the lyrics and the melody put a smile on my heart)

I am a nostalgic person, so my fav is "Hothat kore Bangladesh", although that song is only relevant to WC'99.
Ehesen, I respect their wishes, but while Tindley's We Shall Overcome (mp3) is a wonderful and much-storied song, I would have preferred something home-grown and original, not derivative.
