Target around 350 for one innings will be tough for BD.

Heavy Rain Start Again! - I think that's stumps for the day, because there's no way that the ground can be dried up for the match to resume - bad light will ultimately stop today's play.

Oh so it is stumps. Stupid rain. At least we got some more wickets and a retirement after the first rain.

Yeah the Aussies blew it..!!...They got off to a dream start & just gave it away....They'll have to bowl out of their skin now if they are to be competitive in this match...

technically, its not 'getting' a retirement, rather being given one by the nice hero fleming

well played BCB XI
285/6 isnt bad considering it was against NZ. if NZ r out for less than 300, BCB XI might have a chance.

I wonder why doesn't Kapali bowl himself. Lack of confidence?

Exactly, He is quite economic bowler. He must try it to see how it works on the kiwis.

Ashraful usually concedes 6 or 7 runs per over in ODIs - i.e., that's how he used to concede a year or so earlier.
I haven't seen Habibul Bashar using Ashraful (or for that matter, Alok Kapali) as a bowler too much in the last several months. So it very well could be lack of match practice (or rather, lack of practice) in case of Ashraful.
On another note, why didn't Alok kapali come into bowl his leg spinners ealier than Ashraful? After all, Kapali is the captain in this match - besides, he has a hat-trick in test cricket, Ashraful has no such record.
I'm not trying to criticise Kapali as the captain, I'm only concerned as to whether Kapali is fully fit or not - I remember that he used to have a shoulder injury that I heard about during the ENG tour of BD - may be that's why he's not bowling too regularly as he should?

How ironic me and Navarene was thinking and are posting almost the same thing - Kapali's bowling.
Yes, - lack of confidence could also be another answer for Kapali not to come into bowl earlier.
