Ohkay, today was probably the luckiest day of the season for Chelsky. They got their butt saved by the linesman. Horrible linesmanship. In the first goal, the whole of the ball never crossed the whole of the line. I know it was BS goalkeeping by Gomes, but still that wasnt a goal. And then again on the sexond goal, Kalou was offside, surely, but the linesman didnt call it again. In my books, Spurs won that game 1-0. I feel extremely sorry for Spurs, that sort of linesmanship probably cost them the Champions League place. They did great this year, I would have loved to see them come back. As for Chelsky, it wouldnt really help them much because United will win the title anyway

Villa Boas is the man to lead us to glory next season. Very excited about his appointment. Quite a bold statement from the club.

The problem of Chelsea or City is that they lack patience. They impressed too easily and then dont take long time to be depressed. AVB has done good job for Porto right but he is yet to be tested in CL. Chelsea in last few years appointed or sacked coaches in pursuit of CL glory. So I find it hard to understand the claim of "bold statement" by some of their fans. It is to me anything but a bold move by Chelsea. They are basically gambling with their luck. Dont be surprised if they finish out of top 4 next year.

I really admired the way Chelsea dominated proceedings with 9 players on the pitch

I know they're not a real club...but they are good for comedy.

They've just fired Andres Villas Boas - barely in charge for 7-8 months, and he'll cost them close to 13mil pounds to fire
