Default Have your say - national cricket anthem of Bangladesh?

Let's settle this, once and for all, through the weakest form of governance out there in the modern world (i.e. democracy). Youtube the songs if you haven't heard 'em before.

Cholo Bangladesh makes sparks shoot through my veins. I feel like destroying Australia, destroying South Africa, destroying India and taking over the rest of the world with 120 mph bouncers and 200m sixes (whether I'm capable is irrelevant).

Hotath Kore Bangladesh??? That was some really weak, putu-putu, kindergarden music with the most childish lyrics and vocals ever.

'Cholo Bangladesh' is far and away the best 'anthem' to be composed to date. Sounds modern, musically sophisticated, and generally electrifying.

Cholo Bangladesh has a true heart-pounding anthem feeling, save the generic riffs in between.

I am rather partial to Nazrul's "Mora Jhonjhar Moto Uddam" which we used to use as a sports anthem in the '70s -- I seem to recall the Sports section of the news on BTV beginning with this as an audio clip. Unfortunately, the mp3s I could find on the net have a much slower tempo than I recall.

I voted "Other". None of these songs do enough by itself to pump me up before a game. So I just listen to the national anthem and occasioanlly the "Bangladesh" song by James...although it has nothing to do with cricket. I also watch thios grameen phone commercial to keep me motivated for sleepless nights http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xQHhaV5Cvw

Damn I was just going to post this!

Yes definetely Chol Chol Chol albeit it was made for the Army it is still a valid song for our cricket.

My choices in order:
1. Cryptic Fate - Chol Chol Chol
2. Grameenphone - Cholo Bangladesh
3. Cryptic Fate - Cholo Bangladesh

All the other songs are mediocre.

No brainer really. BTW, Shakib is also the name of Cryptic Fate's lead singer and songwriter. SWEET, eh?

Alternate anthem:

চল্,চল্,চল্ by KN Islam, arranged and performed by the Dew Drops ...

Here it is, please ignore the horrible video and transliteration.

yeah I'm a big fan of Cholo Bangladesh. That would be crazy if it were the actual anthem.
