An interview with Bangladesh national team coach Jamie Siddons
I have recently taken an interview of Bangladesh national team coach Jamie Siddons. Jamie answered a good number of questions and gave his detailed thought about the current state of Bangladesh cricket and his plan to change the future of Bangladesh national team.
His answers are well thought out and I really appreciate his valuable time. I am grateful to him for this wonderful opportunity and I believe this interview will help to dispel some rumours which have been circulated in the media due to Bangladesh's recent struggle in international cricket.
It is an exciting interview and will help to understand his coaching vision.
I will publish the interview within couple of days.

Thats great news Miraz... I hope that in the future you would also intervew Ruwan Kalpage/Carlton Bernadas/ like coach who can give us an idea what goes wrong after their junior players move into the senior side.. why do we still ahve technical flaws in players who have been under coaches for so many years..But cant wait to hear what Jamie Siddons had to say,, he seems to be the center of attraction more than the actual result that was produced in Australia.

You have to wait until the interview is published to get the answer.

Wow..now that is something that draws my attention. Congrats Miraz. I have always maintained the fact that you deserve a lot of credit for doing an incredible job here, though I disagree with your views on cricket generally! Please don't take it personally, but you yourself has been guilty of the same rumors floated in the media that you hope will be dispelled after the interview. Nonetheless, I am eagerly awaiting the interview.

It's a big interview, about 3000 words and JS has detailed his plan as the coach of Bangladesh team and his vision to raise the standard of national team. I will again speak to Jamie tonight to finalize few things. Hopefully it will be published within next 2-3 days.

Good news and I am a bit sad.
In the past, we, the BC members had an opportunity to post a question to the interviewee. This being the most important person of our cricket team, I would have loved to participate to pitch in a question or two.
Anyways, I guess this opportunity came up real fast and you didn't have enough time to do to that. We are all eagerly waiting nevertheless.
Keep up the exceptional work. Who said we bangalis can't be examples? Miraz is one. Does things for the passion of the game no compensation is needed. If only our Politicians took any heed. Miraz for future MP.

Ha ha ha, nare bhai. It won't happen.
T_E bhai, there was no gurantee that Jamie will agree to give the interview and that's why I didn't make any announcement in the forum. I hope everyone will understand it.

I hope Jamie realizes coaching BD is not easy. He wanted to take the challenge...pretty normal nowadays when you take risk for a big challenge otherwise how you will know your ability. Probably he will go back and coach other countries(!) or academy teams. But definitely coaching BD team is not a easy task. I hope he realizes it and if require ask for assistance from BCB rather wait to see for long term improvement. The way the team is performing, I wonder what will happen next year.

I also believe Jamie tried to teach our superstar batsmen regarding batting that they did in their lives. But even without a coach, why you would play uppish drive when you are facing first 10 deliveries of the game and not that confident because of previous few low scores. And playing almost 100 ODI, you really do not need a coach to learn that.
Jamie also need to work with a psychologist to find out the complex brains of our batsmen. This will be the next big bang experiment to understand their minds.
