Default Bangladesh vs Afghanistan ODI Series Thread

Finally after months of hiatus, cricket returns to Bangladesh. The series starts in less than 2 weeks. So let's get back into the cheering mode again

Tour Fixture

ODI 1 : 09/25 (Sun)
ODI 2 : 09/28 (Wed)
ODI 3 : 10/01 (Sat)

Need to win all 3 matches to establish some rhythm before the England series.

I predict an afghan upset in one game.. they will jump on the rusty BD side depleted after the loss of Mustafizur and Taskin....

But it will be a great series nevertheless

If Afghanistan beat us, there's no shame in it. We are rusty and they are a hungry side with good pacers.

Even if they're rusty, that is no excuse for losing to Afghanistan.

He's not fat, just big boned. Mohammed Shahzad- one of the top run scorers in T20s this year. You have unfinished business? Or you're collectively saying as a team?

Haha. Mohammad Shahzad has got this competitive streak going. Very aggressive, arrogant. Gets under the skin of opposition and fans as well.

He ll be the decisive player imo. BD has to do sufficient homework on him.

Shahzad is a hack. The guy has very poor techniques but he can get away with that playing against the associates. Afg has other better players.

I wouldn't let my guard down against him. Guess who was the other guy to play a helicopter shot other than Shahzad:

Rashid Khan is the guy BD has to look out for.

The commentary team will be a mystery, there are 3 of them from BD none from Afghanistan as far as I know.

BD: AAK, Shamim, Mehrab JR.
AFG: ?
