Wow, just logged back in and what a mighty collapse by the Easterns !
Gazi on a roll here. Superb bowling, aptly aided by Razzak.

Sajidul should get called up for the Lanka Tests. The Rajib and others can't be trusted to get the job done.

Tbh I would drop Rubel as well. Only got himself to blame. And Abul too. He should not be there unless we need a explosive batsman

I would bring back Shafiul and Sajedul.

RBX bowled well in the 2nd Test. I'm not confident in him, but at the same time he's the best option we have. If I could pick 3 pacers as of right now...I'd take Nazmul, Rubel, Sajidul in that order.

yeah rubel did well in his last test so i'd keep him as one of the pacers, sajidul would be a good pick as well, so would nazmul.

Sajidul is also a left armer with decent pace who can bend the ball.

why Rubel ???? Dhurrrrrr hurrr faltu ekta bowler......ok,shob bad dilam age ja korse korse......is he now bowling well in the domestic level ???? From which angle u think rubel did well in the last test ? He has nothing...... Kindly check his international and domestic level@all.......Abul is far better, atleast he can bat well and i like his bowling action and variation, this man has just started his career and he will surely be better day by day..........what about Rubel ? Everyone already forget his two special match losing overs 1 against a bowler like Muralidharan and the other against M.Samuels ( 29 runs ! )/third ODI er over tar kotha na hoy bad e dilam.....i know Samuels have the ability,he did the same to(actually not same coz Malinga didn't give 29 in a over and i don't think Rubel is comparable fromm any angle with him) Malinga in the world cup but what about Murali ? Even i would forget everything if this man could perform in the domestic level but he never perform there.......so,we should take him again and again for what ????? Why why why ??? Just becoz he got pace ?? So, why shouldn't we take people like john, undertaker, khali?the r much stronger. lol
Such an expensive bowler. Shahadat is far better than Rubel as atleast he perform in the domestic and once he was a good test(int.) bowler.
All the bc members please answer my question- do u ever check his profile stats / ever watch his bowling ?
We have a lot of better options so,why should we take him ?
[Rubel jodi karo favourite player hoye thake sorry....plz don't mind......this is just my own opinion, kindly, don't banned me after this altu faltu comment sorry]

Both Soummya and Anamul is batting well. Anamul missed the century in 1st innings. He should try for a century now.

Anamul has a superb conversion rate...hopefully he will get it...good to see Soumya playing a sensible knock...he was blazing to starts in the NCL. If they both convert, South will be in a good position.

Sir on 48*...has he passed 50 in first class cricket once this year?

Good to see Anam, Shourav making runs. Hom has been in freefall, so disappointing.

Sports Reporter

Off-spinner Shohag Gazi, along with veteran left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak, spun Prime Bank South Zone to a position of strength against Islami Bank East Zone at the end of the second day of the second round of the Bangladesh Cricket League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur yesterday.

Gazi, the new sensation in Bangladesh cricket after his impressive debut against West Indies, inflicted the maximum damage by taking six wickets while Razzak grabbed the rest to ensure South Zone's slim 16-run first innings lead.

At the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Mohammad Ashraful got back among the runs after a long break and remained not out on 48 as Walton Central Zone survived a Sajedul Islam scare in reply to BCB North Zone's 361.

SOUTH ZONE v EAST ZONE
Nafis Iqbal and Mominul Haque joined the club of wasting three-digit opportunities as the former national opener scored 83 and his young colleague Mominul was dismissed for 78. The pair's effort was however not good enough for East Zone to surpass their opponents' total as Gazi and Razzak ripped through their batting. . . . . . .http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=263706

BCL's bonus confusion
Sports Reporter

The playing conditions of the ongoing Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) yesterday became the subject of chaotic contention.

The tournament committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) first provided a point system which had no provisions for batting or bowling bonus points in a press conference prior to the start of the newly-designed competition. However, the playing conditions that were distributed to the franchisees included the batting and bowling bonus scoring system and the first round matches were played accordingly.

Realising their mistake however, the BCB distributed revised playing conditions which again had no provision for bonus scoring for batting and bowling on the second day of the second-round matches. . . . . . . http://www.thedailystar.net/newDesig...php?nid=263709
