Who's your second team?
Here is an interesting article I found in Cricinfo today about another team other than ours to support in the World Cup.
Here's a part from the article I liked a little
So that leaves Bangladesh. A young side full of energy, belief and talent, who I am confident my own team will beat if we play against them. In other words, the ideal "second team".
Screw the middle part of that sentence though
Here's the link http://www.espncricinfo.com/page2/co...ry/499816.html
So I was wondering if you guys had another team than Bangladesh that you will be cheering for in the World Cup.
I am cheering for Sri Lanka for many reasons. They are in a separate group from us in the World Cup, plus their team seems way more humble than other teams. Hopefully we can have a Sri Lanks vs. Bangladesh final this year

India, unfortunately. ...always been a fan of the Indian team. Also, not exactly a blind supporter, but I'll be secretly daydreaming that Canada win all their games!

No worries, I'll also be cheering for Canada. Since they're not much of a threat to Bangladesh and since I live here, I am a fan of their cricket team, and they have some decent players.
But India?!? Really? They seem like such bullies, the team and the board. They're like the super rich evil team that's really good, but I find hard to cheer for because they're so good, kind of like the New York Yankees. Screw the Yankees and screw India, no offense though

So basically you are supporting 2 Indian teams. One in blue, and one in red and white

Yah - BCCI is utter nonsense and their ignorant attitude is much despised of, but I've always been a fan of their batting talents, and their recent upheaval from dismal-ness since the Saurav Ganguly era. They are a top-of-the-ranks team currently for a reason.

Good for us though. Morgan denied us one win in Mirpur and hopefully this guy removed we'll be able to beat them this time.
My second team is Australia and I know if Bangladesh somehow fails to lift the trpphy, it will be the Aussies all the way.
I have been living in Canada for a long time but hate their Cricket team ).

I'd rather have him in the Eng team and get him out for a duck. Plus he is out of form. It's time to pay the price. He got lucky last time

Voted for SL. They revolutionized cricket with the pinch-hitting style in the WC they won. At that time they were breaking every conceivable record every other day. We are like their shadows to speak metaphorically and I seek great inspiration about their meteoric rise from strings of loss. SL FTW!

I don't need a second team. It's ONLY Bangladesh that gets my support.
All the other teams should be "whipped".

Good on Ya.
I also want India's exit from 1st round. They are ok as a team, it's their fans became too arrogant and ignorant.

Cant really think of any other cricketing nation as my second team.Instead i would like to enjoy some individual performances like someone`s blasting innings or ferocious bowling. not willing to follow the whole match.
Though semis & final are exceptional you know!

Although Pakistan does not seem to have a great chance of winning this world cup, we can never write them off

I have always supported the SL team because I lived in SL for a few years. my first team is BD though, but i also support the Windies because i am from that part of the world. I think that they are a better team going into this WC, so BD should not take them lightly at all.

Used to be a supporter of pakistan's cricket before but from some years become a tendulkar fan. So second team is India. Dont like any cricket team outside of south asia. So like to see either India or Srilanka win the WC if BD failed.

I don't have a second team. But won't be totally bummed if Canada does well.
