Thanks so much eshen bhai. I was really wanting to know these stats. You forgot zunaed though because he played against england in BD.
Notice how poor ash's avg and SR is. That's just inexcusable for a top order batsman. That's why he should not be anywhere near the team. I'm happy with the other batsmen stats even though imrul and roqibul need to pull their SRs up.
The bowlers stats just shows how inexperienced our attack. Shakib and razzak are gonna be our key bowlers. Shafiul and rubel are going to have to step up big time and bowl well. Or else we'll really struggle against the top S teams in our group.

^^ Oh, I missed Zunaed. He played one match each against SA and England at home, scored 6 and 0 respectively.

He has not faced India yet in his career, home or abroad.

Raynman did you per chance have managed to compile the milestones and records that players may be reaching this World Cup?

As always great thread and nice work Raynman bro.
I see Ash all over the place. I am quite glad that he is included in the sqaud. He might not be in good form in international matches (not sure if theres such a thing - its just psychological for him) but he can create some pressure to the opponent. Most Int ppl know the names of at least 3 ppl in our team - Shakib, Tamim and Ashraful man!
If we can go beyond QF, then we'll have done brilliantly. QF is a must and should be walk in the park. If we are out of the first round, then we should stop playing cricket and concentrate on football - simple as that!

I will start off with one:
Shahriar Nafees has scored 1,976 runs, and needs 24 more to become the fifth Bangladesh player to reach the 2,000 runs milestone.

One Step closer. SL beating WI drops them to 66.53. We are at 66.28. A win by SL in the 3rd ODi will bring WI down to 66.05.
If this happens, WI will be the 2nd test team (after ZIM) we surpass in the ODI rankings.

cool stats...
i am a little worried about the batting... with NZ and ZW, Shakib almost single handedly pulled the team through. one innings from Tamim, Nafees and Roqibul to be added as I remember (sorry writing from memory)
If no. 3 and 4 do not compile a good show, we might well be in trouble. The good thing is that we have a lot of options for those two positions (nafees, junaid, roqibul, mushfiq)
Best of luck tigers

Mods, Can this be moved back to Banglacricket forum due to the increased visibility on that forum.
As this focuses purely on Bangladesh performance and not the WC as a whole, I think it belongs there.
